Sports Lovers Morning Tour
All Sports Lovers tours begin with pickup from selected Melbourne hotels, then take you to Flemington Racecourse to see where Australia's most famous horserace, the Melbourne Cup, is held each November. Tour Flemington’s famous icons, from the finish post and clock tower to the mounting yard, stables, betting ring and famous rose gardens.
Continue your sports tour of Melbourne to the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, built for the 2006 Commonwealth Games on the edge of the city center in Parkville. Then travel to the Formula 1 Grand Prix racetrack in Albert Park, and be driven around the circuit past the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.
Enjoy a trip across town to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia's most historic and iconic sports venue. After lunch, go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Rod Laver Arena, home to the Australian Open tennis championships each January. Feel the thrill of walking into the arena, following in the footsteps of Roger Federer, Andy Murray and other tennis champions. Go backstage and see the stars' dressing rooms, and hear about the rock concerts and other sporting events held in this important arena. To really experience the excitement of Grand Slam tennis, play a one-hour match on the show courts, where many of the world's champion players have played. Racquet and ball hire are included from the Australian Open shop, but you need to bring your own tennis gear.

Our tour took in Flemington Racecourse, the MCG and Albert Park racetrack. All 3 attractions were good with good information being provided by Tamara. The lunch provided at the conclusion was very good and appreciated

Ok at best. Lunch was really good and the owner or driver was a nice guy. Having Rod Laver Stadium being taking off the list at the last minute due to construction was disappointing. Cricket stadium was ok at best, I am American and expected more-lol, sorry. Everything else was kind of ho hum, not bad, not that great though!

A great experience for the true sports lover. A behind the scenes look at Flemington and the Formula 1 Circuit culminating with a full guided tour of the ins and outs of the MCG. Very enjoyable with an informative, knowledgeable and humorous guide. Well worth it for an up close view of the venues so familiar on our television screens. If you are into your sport you must go on this Framlington racecourse was lovely with tour guide giving many interesting facts,MCG is one of the great stadium in the world,a must is the sports museum,Albert Park for F1 fans is a little bit of a disappointment as there are no permanent stands they build the racetrack over 11 weeks however you do get driven around the track.
