Departing from Melbourne CBD, your tour focuses heavily on getting to know Phillip Island and hearing your professional guides incredible knowledge on the local history and way of life. As you depart the city, you will be given the opportunity to upgrade your tour to include entry to the animal wildlife and conservation park as well as the penguin parade (payable direct on the day of travel).
If you have opted to include entry to these attractions, your day will begin with a stop at the animal wildlife and conservation park. Here you will be given the chance to learn about the many local native animals as well as get up close to these incredible creatures.
You will then stop for a light afternoon tea before heading on towards Phillip Island and the Nobbies Seaside look out for incredible views.
Next, take your very own penguin conservation safari drive along the coast (subject to the road being open) to spot wallabies, cape baron geese, hawks and possibly whales depending on the season.
You will then take a guided penguin colony walk to highlight the birds lifestyle and a nightly penguin parade after your conservation tour. Here you will get to see the little blue flightless birds waddle up the beach and feel a deep connection with their plight after the insight you have gained from the tour.
Departing from the island you will head back to Melbourne with a quick stop to purchase food for the journey home before being returned directly to your CBD, St Kilda or South Bank hotel.行程概要出發地點
