No previous experience is necessary to enjoy this kayak tour as full instruction will be provided. Before setting off on your state-of-the-art sea kayak you will receive a full safety briefing and an introduction to paddling techniques.
As you paddle your way through the heart of Melbourne, take in all the sights along the Yarra River, including Southbank, Federation Square and Flinders Street Station.
Afternoon Docklands Kayak Tour (2 hours)
Explore all the major iconic sights of Melbourne from a unique water-level perspective. After a quick briefing and paddling lesson, you'll head downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne. Continue paddling along the Yarra past Flinders Station and up to the iconic Polly Woodside Tallship at South Wharf before entering the Docklands precinct and the beautiful Yarra’s Edge Marina. After a short rest stop you'll head back upstream passing Crown Casino and the lively South Bank district before finishing back at Boathouse Drive.
Melbourne by Night Kayak Tour (2.5 3 hours)
After setting off from the Docklands and getting acquainted with your kayak, you’ll paddle your way upstream under the Bolte Bridge and through to Melbourne’s lively downtown. As Melbourne lights up you’ll kayak past Crown Casino and stylish Southbank. Paddle by iconic Flinders Street Station and beneath the historic Princes Bridge en route to Melbourne’s sporting precinct, home to the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Rod Laver Arena, before returning to Southgate, where your tour will end.行程概要出發地點

I went out on a perfect afternoon and had a really great time. Great views, lovely group and an awesome guide! Definitely one of the highlights of the trip for me, obviously very different to the typical city tours you'd otherwise go on.

Tour guide was excellent! Very chilled and relaxed experience especially for those such as myself that have absolutely no experience in kayaking. You get plenty for your money and some excellent views of the city.

This trip was ridiculously rushed!! We were very disappointed!!, viator lead us to believe that it was a two hour trip and the guide would highlight some special views/attractions of the city from the river. The Instructor got us straight in the water, paddled liked you wouldn't believe, racing a long the river, turned around and then raved all the way back?!?! All of us were racing to keep up and we had to keep asking what things were for. The instructor apologised and advised that viator had advertised it incorrectly?

A really cool experience on the Yarra River at night. The fish and chips dinner was great. The kayak ride was a lot of fun and a relaxing experience. Thanks again, highly recommended!

This was a great time! Our guide was super nice. We even had an Australian Olympic ski team member on our tour. Really fun and night time views are amazing. A little difficult to find the wharf shed if you are not familiar with Melbourne.

Absolutely brilliant. Thanks Kent for a very enjoyable evening. We stopped along the way for fish and chips and then off we go again down the Yarra. At 8pm we were in our kayaks along side the casino watching the fireworks. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone. You don't need to be super fit to do this as you just go at your own pace. Kent gives you a lesson first on how to kayak and will always make sure you are ok along the way. We started in late afternoon and as you kayak down the Yarra you see the lights of Melbourne come on.

Fantastic way to see the City! I booked the night tour...lovely vista at sunset behind the bridge. They were heli-filming overhead... and the Crown had a wild fire display. Several kids in our group... start off paddling and steering through the Harbour...tied up for fish and chips... then down the Harrah River we went. Passed under many bridges and end up two hours later in the dark near Southgate. Awesom trip!

We were really lucky to have our own personal tour, as nobody else had booked. Very nice, informative tour guide. Amazing views of the city. Definitely highly recommended!
