Hobart City Kayak Tour (2.5 hours)
Take a relaxed 2.5-hour tour that leaves right from the center of Hobart. After a paddle lesson and safety briefing, follow your guide along the waters of the Derwent Estuary for a different perspective on this harbor city. See historic Battery Point, now known as one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Hobart, and pass the vibrant Salamanca district with its restaurants, art galleries, shops and offices. As you paddle by busy docks and under fishing wharves, check out other watercraft such as elegant tall ships, working fishing boats, sleek yachts and modern cruisers. If you work up an appetite, you can refuel on some of Hobart’s legendary fish and chips direct from a dockside fish punt—without even leaving your kayak. Your experienced guide shares informative commentary and can help with any kayaking questions throughout your trip. Suitable for beginners and families, this tour does not require prior paddling experience.
Tasman Peninsula Kayak Tour (10 hours)
Head out of Hobart to immerse yourself in spectacular scenery of high cliffs, sea caves and wildlife, including Australian fur seals, dolphins, sea eagles, penguins and other sea birds. After leaving Hobart, travel by comfortable air-conditioned minivan for about two hours along scenic roads to reach the starting point for your kayak trip. Paddle through remote and beautiful waterways for a memorable wilderness kayak experience. Learn from your guide about the natural history and wildlife of the region as you soak up the beauty of Tasmania's coast, and stop for a picnic lunch at a gorgeous bay. A good level of fitness is required, enough to sustain approximately two hours of paddling at a stretch, although you do not need to be an experienced kayaker for this trip. This tour is not recommended for children under 16 years.
Hobart's Cliffs, Caves & Beaches (7 hours)
Depending on the wind's direction, this tour will start from either a beachside suburb of Hobart called Taroona, or from Tinderbox Marine Nature Reserve, which is located a 45-minute drive from the center of Hobart. The trip goes one way between these two points with a drive in the other direction. No matter where you start, the paddle takes you by rugged lichen-covered cliffs that jut out from the ocean and stunning coastal landscapes. Explore sea caves and sandy beaches, with a stop for a delicious picnic lunch on the beach. Your guide points out places of interest and shares informative commentary about the animal and plant life, including the large variety of seaweed that is found in the reserve. This leisurely tour is suitable for beginning and experienced kayakers, and for children 10 years old and up.飯店接送

Very manageable tour for those wanting something active but not too strenuous, and seeing the sights of the harbor rather than a wilderness area was a different way to enjoy kayaking. Our guide, Will, was excellent!

Lunch was fantastic and the scenery very pretty -
This was another great experience in Hobart. We had a beautiful morning weather wise to paddle around the harbor. Roaring 40s Kayaking is a family owned business and they were wonderful. We spent about 2 1/2 hours paddling. There was a wooden boat festival the following weekend, so we were treated to some spectacular boats sailing by us. The view of Hobart from the water is special and our guide had lots of hints about things to do once our tour was over. It was fun eating a fish and chips lunch delivered to us in our boats. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. I have kayaked in the past but because of the tandem kayaks, I think it would be fine for most people even without experience.

This tour was amazing!

This tour was the highlight of my few days in Hobart. Kayaking was a great way to explore the harbour, and I thought the quality of instruction was really good. The guide (Reg) was really friendly, chatted with us along the way, and took a few photos which he emailed to us later. We paddled right up to a floating fish and chips stand, had fish and chips carefully lowered down to us, and then ate it in our kayaks, which was really charming. The tour was not at all strenuous, so I think almost anybody would be fit enough to go. Next time I am in Hobart I am definitely going to look into one of their longer tours!
