Your Fraser Island 1 day tour adventure begins with complimentary pick up from/ near your accommodation on the Sunshine Coast between Sunshine Beach and Noosa before heading across the Noosa River, bound for the Cooloola National Park where we stop for morning tea on the beach.
Our tours also depart daily from Rainbow Beach.
Over to Fraser Island, we travel along the spectacular Seventy Five Mile Beach to explore the natural beauty of this magnificent wilderness with a guided rainforest walk. On for a refreshing Lake McKenzie swim and an authentic Aussie lunch tops off a perfect day of discovery on the World’s largest sand island! Return through the towering forests of Satinay and Brushbox and navigate your way down the ‘sandy highway’ enjoying an afternoon tea stop on remote beach stretches before returning to Noosa.

Fraser Island is a very beautiful and unusual island. Our Viator tour took us to the fabulous Lake Mckenzie where we swam in a fresh water lake, explored the rain forest and watched the dingos on the amazing 75 mile beach. It was a fantastic day out - one I'd definitely recommend.

We had a great time on this tour and I am so glad we did it while we were in Noosa. It is unavoidable but the downside to this trip is just how much driving there is. If you have extra days to spare i would suggest doing a 2 day trip so that you maybe do less driving and see more of the spots. Beyond this, the guide was fantastic- super knowledgeable and very friendly. The spots we stopped were beautiful. Also, the van needs more air conditioning. It was very warm to the point of feeling sick during parts of the drive.

Heaps of great fun! The Island is beautiful, and Lake McKenzie is stunning. If we could spend even longer at the lake that would be awesome.
The pick-up and drop off was timely and the tour was informative and interesting.
One thing to note is that the 4WD vehicle is VERY bouncy - especially at the back. I had my seatbelt on but I was literally flying off my seat. I usually get travel sickness but felt fine, which was great because it felt like a roller coaster at times! Just something to be aware of. -
We loved the drive along the beach and had fun exploring during our quick tea time. This tour is mostly driving around the island with a few quick stops so I wouldn't recommend for young kids. My only issue was that all the tour operators arrive at Lake Mackenzie at the same time and it was crowded! No chance to get any great photos.

Awesome trip. Mega vehicle. One chap on the tour really struggled on the walk. If our guide had gone to help/check on him I would have given it 5*s. The walk isn’t as easy as described. Beautiful place, good lunch, good pick ups. Needed more time there.

Great day out with pleasant salad lunch. Our 4WD proved to be a comfortable and very necessary means of transport as we explored the beach and inland switchbacks which serve as road between the places of interest. The guide was informative and efficiently organised the series of activities and we even got to see a wild dingo. Definitely a trip Id recommend!
