Experience the exquisite beauty of Wineglass Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula aboard the Schouten Passage II, a 150 seat eco-catamaran. The journey is spectacular; the vessel will stop and allow you to gaze at the sheer granite cliffs, get up close to the wildlife and provide informative commentary on landmarks, wildlife and history. Wineglass Bay is beautiful and remote, a shimmering crescent of white sand fringes at the edge of a perfect turquoise sea where you will enjoy a Tasmanian Ploughman's lunch at anchor in relaxed style. Your delicious lunch is a bento box full of fresh local produce such as salmon, cheeses and chocolate, prepared by the Freycinet Lodge. Taste local beverages and cool-climate wines available for purchase in nature's best wine bar in the wilderness. Our luxury 2 level catamaran offers floor to ceiling windows, airplane style seating and both air conditioning and heating, so regardless of the conditions outside you will travel in comfort. The vessel is wheelchair and children friendly and there are 3 toilets on board including facilities for the disabled and a baby change table. Excellent cruise very informative and attentive staff.Weather was very good. We saw dolphins swimming beside the boat. Seals on the rocks.

Great value for money! The weather was in our favour and fortunately for us the boat was not crowded. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Would have liked to have heard more about the Indigenous people who lived here in the past. What of their influence then and now?

Staff were so helpful, friendly and eager to make sure we were looked after, especially the ones feeling a bit nausea. However, by not going straight to Wineglass Bay it made a few people nausea just that little bit too far before we stopped.
Lunch was nice, great idea in the Bento Boxes, however, I wouldn't rave about the lunch by any means.
Perhaps a stop at Freycinet Lodge for lunch on the way back would have been better.......we went there after the Cruise for more food. -
Didn't go, got more than half way and the captain turned back said seas were too rough. We were offers ginger calm tablets before we left and a section of the cruise didn't take then and were all sick, I hope this didn't have a bearing on the captain turning back..

We had an amazing time, we saw Humpback whales, dolphins and seals. The crew were wonderful and the scenery was spectacular, the lunch provided was delicious, I can't find any negatives, I would definitely recommend this cruise!

The cruise was a great way to see the Hazard Ranges, Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. The boat and crew were fantastic. We enjoyed sightings of seals and whales as well as the caves, blowholes and pristine beaches along the peninsula. The day was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Had a fabulous day. The scenery was beautiful, loved the dolphins. We were well looked after by the crew and had a delicious lunch as well. I would highly recommend this cruise.
