Check-in at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns at least 30-minutes prior to your selected departure time for the Fitzroy Island high-speed ferry. Keep an eye out for dolphins and other marine life during the 45-minute crossing or simply relax on the outside deck or inside the cabin.
Located just 18.5 miles (30 km) from Cairns, Fitzroy Island is one of the most unspoiled islands on the Great Barrier Reef, The ocean and reef surrounding the island are teeming with marine life and the deep waters are the perfect place to zip through the water on a state-of-the-art SEABOB.
Meet your SEABOB instructor on Fitzroy Island and receive a safety briefing, get outfitted with your snorkel mask and learn how to master the controls of your personal SEABOB. A lightweight, handheld propeller device, the SEABOB allows you zip effortlessly through water. This is an exhilarating water sports experience.
