How it works?
You can stay on one trip with the same group and travel in the minimum time for a tour-type experience (itinerary below) or spend time in the places you love most by hopping on and off the bus/train at different places. All transport over your set pass route, whether in your local operators own buses, public buses, trains or boats is included in one direction, once. Passes are valid for 12 months. You can hop on and off anywhere over your route, stay longer and jump back on when you’re ready.
Stray Mate App
Once you have confirmed your booking. Your local operator will provide you with a login to their app to manage your pass. Book on and off your transport; book, rate and review, and get great deals on accommodation and activities.
Travel Day: Byron Bay ─ Noosa or Rainbow Beach
From Byron Bay cruise into the Gold Coast and Brisbane then travel on to the upmarket resort town of Noosa. Hop off here or continue onto Rainbow Beach for the night. Stay longer in Noosa or Rainbow Beach to relax on the beach or visit Fraser Island.
Travel Day: Rainbow Beach (via Noosa) ─ Emu Park
Switch from buses to trains as we travel up to Rockhampton and Emu Park. Here you can visit Great Keppel Island, visit crocodile farms, take part in treasure hunts and hunt for turtles at Bluff point!
Travel Day/Night: Emu Park─ OVERNIGHT TRAIN ─ Airlie Beach
Spend the day at Emus Beach Resort before we catch the train in the evening and travel overnight to Airlie Beach the gateway to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.
Travel Day: Airlie Beach ─ Magnetic Island
Head out to tropical ‘Maggie Island’, where you'll stay in a lodge with its own amazing wildlife park. There is much to explore on the island, as nearly 50% of it is National Park with amazing beaches and abundant wildlife. Your guide will join you on a walk around the Island; otherwise you can do more exploring or just relax by the pool.
Travel Day: Magnetic Island ─ Tully
You reach Tully in the afternoon where you'll enjoy a dip in an amazing swimming hole at Tully Gorge and visit 'Alligator's Nest' for some scenic views before settling for the night.
Travel Day: Tully Cairns
In the morning you'll rise early and head out to rainforest if you've booked our unique Rainforest Experience. Later that day you travel to Cairns and begin celebrating the end of your East Coast Adventure with your friends.行程概要出發地點
