Day 1: Broome, Windjana Gorge (B,L,D)
Depart Broome at 7am and travel along the Gibb River Road towards the Napier Range. Here, visit the incredible Windjana Gorge. After a picnic lunch, spend the afternoon exploring Tunnel Creek with your local indigenous Bunuba guide and discover the legend of his ancestry. Return to Windjana Gorge in the evening for a night camping.
Day 2: Bell Gorge (B,L,D)
Wake early for a day exploring Bell Gorge. An idyllic retreat considered amongst the most beautiful in the area with cascading waterfalls and crystal clear pools formed over millions of years.
Day 3: Galvans Gorge, Adcock Gorge (B,L,D)
Travel en route to your camp at Mt Elizabeth Station Homestead. Along the way, stop and discover Galvans Gorge and Adcock Gorge.
Day 4-5: Mitchell Plateau Track (B,L,D)
Today, take on the real 4WD country as you travel the rugged Kalumburu Road towards the Mitchell Plateau Track. With two nights camping in the National Park, enjoy a trek to Little and Big Merten Falls for a swim and time to view Bradshaw rock art. (Optional helicopter flight for a bird’s eye view of this extraordinary landscape - own expense)
Day 6: Drysdale River Station (B,L)
Enjoy the day in the Australian outback at the Drysdale River Station.
Day 7-8: Zebedee Springs, El Questro Gorge, Emma Gorge (B,L,D/B,L)
Continue your journey up the Gibb River Road towards the iconic El Questro Wilderness Park. Over the next two days you'll have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the Zebedee Springs, take a trek into El Questro Gorge, Emma Gorge, enjoy a cruise on Chamberlain Gorge (own expense) or simply explore this beautiful wilderness park at your own leisure.
Day 9-10: Purnulula National Park (BLD/BLD)
Today, head south down to Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungles. Enjoy two nights in a private Bungle Bungles Safari Camp followed by a full day to explore the highlights of the National Park. Enjoy spare time in the afternoon to take an optional scenic flight and enjoy a birds-eye view of the beehive domes (own expense) to put it all into perspective.
Days 11-12: Lake Argyle, Kununurra (B,L,D/B)
Return north, to the heart of the east Kimberley, Kununurra. Travel to Lake Argyle by us and enjoy a ground tour of the area before boarding a boat for a relaxing cruise along the Ord River back to Kununurra.
Day 13: Katherine (B,L,D)
Continue east and cross the border into the Northern Territory. Travel to the outback town of Katherine, home to the spectacular Nitmiluk Gorge.
Day 14: Edith Falls, Darwin (B,L)
Start your day with a 2-hour cruise on Katherine (Nitmiluk) Gorge followed by a dip in Edith Falls. Late afternoon, travel into Darwin, arriving at approx 5pm.行程概要出發地點
