Wednesday Day 1 (L,AT,D)06:45 - Brisbane Airport check To ensure your adventure starts on a relaxed note we suggest you leave plenty of time to get to the airport and check in for your flight!07:45 Rex. Regional Express Airlines Flight ZL5627 departs Brisbane Domestic terminal bound for Cunnamulla via Toowoomba and St George arriving in Cunnamulla at10:40.10:40 - On arrival at Cunnamulla Airport you will be welcomed by the friendly staff from Out the Back Australia and taken to Club Boutique Hotel your Cunnamulla base for the duration of your tour. Enjoy a hassle free check in and make yourself well and truly at home.11:45 Meet in the dining room for tour briefing.12:00 - Say g’day, grab a drink and then head out to the campfire and pick your seat. Meet other travellers as well as some local characters. Meet Les Capewell retired boss drover or another local entertainer. Watch the whip cracking demonstration by the pro, old Les, and have a go if you want. Our local characters want to share their yarns, life experience, stories and culture of the Australian outback with you as you experience old-fashioned hearty bush tucker, with good times and great company. This lunch will be a highlight of your adventure. During lunch enjoy the stories and yarns then swing the billy for a cuppa.16:00 - Late afternoon it's time to depart for the magnificent Warrego River where you can sit back, relax and become surrounded by nature as you cruise the coffee coloured waters with a local. Expect to see lots of birdlife, wildlife and then an amazing outback sunset to cap off a great welcome to the outback.19:00 Dinner, order off our Al La Carte menu and enjoy the amazing food our chef produces and presents fresh to order.Overnight Club Boutique Hotel, luxury Cunnamulla accommodation.Thursday Day 2 (B,MT,L,AT,D)After breakfast, travel to a farm and meet first hand the big-hearted owners who have spent generations working and understanding the land in the harsh outback conditions.Get to know and understand all about life on a farm in the district. Once the largest wool growing area in Australia, the district has had to diversify to remain sustainable. Gain an insight into the challenges posed by mother nature, such as droughts and floods and discover what makes these outback characters so resilient.This is a great opportunity to experience much more wildlife and birdlife in the area.Dinner - on your return to the hotel.Overnight Club Boutique Hotel, luxury Cunnamulla accommodation.Friday Day 3 (B,MT,L,AT,D)Today, you will travel back 100 million years in time in the Artesian Time Tunnel and learn all about the Artesian Basin and how it opened up this area to settlers. Browse through the museum and don’t forget the regional gallery, which hosts stunning works of art.13:30 After lunch, it’s time to meet some local characters in the town.18:00 - It's time to relax and head for the Bowling Club to meet the local characters, enjoy a social game ifthey are playing, and have a coldie or two. Doesn’t matter if you are a bowler or not it is a great way to meet the locals in a social environment.Dinner - on your return to the hotel.Overnight Club Boutique Hotel, luxury Cunnamulla accommodation.Saturday - Day 4 (B,MT,L,AT,D)Start the day with a beautiful breakfast before embarking on a tour of Cunnamulla where you'll learn about the local industry developments. Discover how Cunnamulla came to be and what is making this small town in the outback tick today.Enjoy lunch on the hotel grounds as you explore our Saturday markets. In the late afternoon, relax and enjoy a nanna nap before dinner.Overnight Club Boutique Hotel, luxury Cunnamulla accommodation.Sunday - Day 5 (B,MT,L,AT,D)Start the day with a smile and light breakfast then drive south to Rocky Station where you will be greeted by the owners. On arrival take a casual stroll along the Wallaby Nature Walk looking for tiny wallabies that make homes along the water’s edge.Walk the 70m suspended swinging footbridge over the Warrego River at Rocky Station. When you get to the other side there will be delicious treats to enjoy with the station owners who will welcome you into their home. Over a magnificent morning tea owners will talk about the four generations of Webster’s to make Rocky home.Tour ends 12:00 and departs Cunnamulla at 13:20 Sun飯店接送
