Day 1: Adelaide
Be picked up by airport transfer and taken to your Adelaide hotel. Spend the rest of the day and evening in Adelaide at your leisure.
Hotel: Chifley on South Terrace (Standard), Stamford Plaza Adelaide (Superior), Adelaide, 2 nights.
Day 2: Adelaide -- Barossa Valley -- Adelaide (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, travel into the Barossa Valley to sample fine South Australian wines including TeAro Estate and Saltram wines. In the town of Lyndoch to Kellermeister, for some Cellar door tastings including their Wild Witch Shiraz, the ‘Retro’ selection and a crisp apple cider. Enjoy a delicious 2 course Barossa style restaurant lunch and wine tastings at the Saltram Wine Estate. Leaving Saltram Wine Estate, head to the impressive Wolf Blass Visitor Centre to enjoy tastings of some of the award-winning wines and learn about Wolf Blass the man, the wines, the winery and the vineyards. Relax on the drive through the Adelaide Hills back to your Adelaide hotel, where you have the remainder of the afternoon and evening to spend at your leisure.
Day 3: Adelaide -- Kangaroo Island (L)
An early morning pick up from your hotel for a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver/guide will take you on a tour of South Australia’s premier nature-based tourism destination. Your first official stop will be at Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, an interesting bush engineered distillery that makes the most of its environmental resources. After testing and tasting the Eucalyptus products, continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro located on a 260-hectare bush property, for a delicious two course lunch.
After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk with a National Park Ranger amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Australian Sea- lions. Your tour will then visit another amazing wildlife attraction, the fascinating Birds of Prey free-flight demonstration, an interactive and educational display of native Australian birds and raptors.
From here, you will travel to the centre of Kangaroo Island to the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can feed the kangaroos, have your photograph taken with a koala, and take a guided tour of this wildlife and bird park. You will then be transferred back to your chosen overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Kangaroo Island -- Flinders Chase National Park -- Adelaide (B, L)
After your hotel pick up, visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream and honey beauty products. Next, travel to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary to look for Koalas nestled up in the eucalypts, followed by a scrumptious two course lunch.
After lunch travel to the western most part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park, one of Australia’s largest and earliest conservation parks. After a short stop at the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre, travel through the park and enjoy breath-taking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery. You will be taken to the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals that can be seen swimming and playing in the waves, or resting on the rocks. Return to Penneshaw Ferry Terminal for the return journey to Adelaide.

After breakfast at your Adelaide hotel, be transferred to Adelaide Airport to connect with your onward flight.

Great tour, Stamford plaza is a great hotel. Kangaroo Island was a must, superb organization all the way around. Les our guide was lovely too! Amazing sights and sites, fantastic people. Ozone Hotel was nice too though the kitcen was awfully busy and service was long.
One note though, AAT, please leave the pick-up times at the hotels or send them through emails so we don't have to call, thank you!!!!! -
Marvelous to meet the wild animals and spectacular scenery on Kangaroo Island. Fantastic wine tasting with fine dining in Barrosa Valley.

Both tour guides to the Barrosa and the Kangaroo Island are excellent, esp. Les. He is amazing and knowledgeable of the tour. He is really a great asset to your company.
