Your day starts with pickup at your hotel in Adelaide or at the Central Bus Station. Travel aboard an air-conditioned coach with a knowledgeable guide who shares informative commentary about the sights you pass as you drive about one hour to the Barossa Valley, passing through historic North Adelaide onto the fertile Adelaide Plains.
Your first stop introduces you to one of the oldest wineries in the valley, Seppeltsfield Winery. Established in 1851, the winery includes more than 250 acres (100 hectares) of vineyards with shiraz and grenache grapes, the traditional grapes cultivated in the Barossa. Learn about its history during a tour and wine tasting.
Afterward, continue further into the valley to reach your second destination: Jacob’s Creek, one of Australia's most famous wineries around the world. Join an expert from Jacob’s Creek for a master class on pairing wine with food that leads you through a tasting of several fine wines accompanied by nibbles.
Put your new knowledge to the test while savoring the 2-course lunch that follows your class. Your meal includes a starter and main course, accompanied by a glass of Jacob’s Creek wine.
After lunch, rejoin your coach to visit the historic town of Hahndorf. Nestled in the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf is known for its German heritage. Stroll through streets lined with 100-year-old elm trees and take in the rustic charm of the European-style architecture, local tearooms and shops that feature handmade German crafts.
In the afternoon, head back to Adelaide via scenic villages such as Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate and Bridgewater. Your full-day tour ends with drop-off at your Adelaide hotel in the early evening.行程概要出發地點
