After hotel pickup, enjoy a relaxing drive that follows the southern coastline. Along the way, stop in the seaside town of Port Noarlunga for a complimentary morning tea with cake at Beck's Bakery. Located about 19 miles (30 km) from Adelaide, Port Noarlunga glitters with white sands and the Gulf St Vincent, an inlet of the Indian Ocean. Your guide will drive you to vistas for sweeping views of the town and its surroundings.Back in your coach vehicle, continue to McLaren Vale, a wine region punctuated by renowned wineries and old colonial homes. Your first stop is Wirra Wirra winery, home to century-old ironstone cellars and the famous Church Block label, among others. In between tastings, enjoy the picturesque vineyard grounds from the viewing platform, and see the medieval trebuchet that inspired their Catapult shiraz.For lunch, head over to Red Poles for a 2-course meal prepared with locally sourced produce from the Fleurieu region. Main dishes include: gnocchi with goat's curd; Swiss brown mushroom and broccolini; and Paroo premium kangaroo fillet with pumpernickel, cacao butter and cherry vinaigrette.After indulging in Red Poles' savory dishes, you’ll visit the renowned d’Arenberg winery. Enjoy an extensive wine tasting in the Stables Wine Immersion Centre where you can learn about viticultural practices and winemaking philosophies from the knowledgeable staff and multimedia displays. Don’t leave without experiencing the outstanding view from d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant.Your 8-hour coach tour makes a final stop at Hardys Tintara Cellar Door in the heart of McLaren Vale for a taste of more exquisite, award-winning wines. If you’re all wined out, you can walk to Oscars for a coffee break or sample chocolate at the FruChocs Shop.
