This course is designed for beginners and more experienced folks looking for an amazing adventure in New England. Meet at the departure point in Twin Mountain, New Hampshire at 9am. After introductions, you are required to fill out a liability waiver then you will get geared up for a day of adventure. You will then hop back in your cars (approximately 15 minutes away, carpooling may be an option)and head over to the Falling Waters trailhead, where you will have an easy to moderate 1.2 mile hike. You will pass several smaller falls on the way, with a few chances to take a dip in the pools at the base of the falls. Once you arrive at Cloudland Falls, you will get into the harnesses, get into your helmet and then set up on the ropes. Each participant will get a few chances to rappel the falls, while being backed up on a second rope by a guide. After you rappel, you will hike back to your cars to hand in your gear and say your goodbyes.
This course is designed for beginners. No previous experience is required.
All technical gear is provided. This includes harness, helmet, belay device, and a locking carabiner. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing for the day, as well as lunch/snacks and plenty of water. Be sure to bring sunblock and bug spray. A towel, fresh clothes, and shoes are always nice. A personal camera is also recommended. A pair of sturdy hiking boots are a requirement for this course.行程概要出發地點
