產品介紹
Visit some of America’s most famous monuments and memorials on this small-group guided walking tour of the National Mall in Washington DC. Meet your group and expert guide at the Botanic Gardens and continue down the National Mall, walking the length of the reflecting pool in front of the Capitol, down to the Lincoln Monument. Some stops may include the Smithsonian Castle, Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden and Washington Monument while listening to your guide illustrate the significance of these sites in the development of the DC area.
Walk around the Tidal Basin to the Jefferson Memorial as you make your way to your final arrival at the deeply moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Hear the stories behind these structures and learn how they played a role in the city’s revolutionary inception more than 200 years ago. Learn about architect and civil engineer Pierre L'Enfant's city plan for the new US capital, and discover how architect and urban planner Daniel Burnham extended his vision for the Mall into the symbolic urban area we know today.行程概要出發地點

Jackie was a great guide. Her tour was full of information and wonderful stories. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves very much. Our experience at the Mall would have been less enjoyable if we had done it on our own. Thanks for a great tour.

Our guide was expert in the history f the development of the National Mall and adjoining monuments and museums. He delivered and provided such in-depth advise, we could clearly understand why the Mall was configured and developed in the way it was.
I came away from the tour feeling I had a better appreciation of the American culture and history of the Mall and its building. I would highly recommend this tour for those who want to know more than superficial information. Well done!

What an amazing tour! We had a wonderful guide who was so knowledgeable. It was a lot of walking but we got more history and explanation of the mall, monuments and buildings that I had hoped for. There was so much detail I would have missed without someone telling me. I highly recommend this tour!

Recently my 2 grown daughters and I took this tour of the National Mall. It was fabulous. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and she gave some very interesting facts about each monument. I highly recommend this tour and that is even though we took it during a freezing, rainy day! That was how good it was!
