Begin your daylong tour of Washington DC by boarding your comfortable, air-conditioned coach at Union Station. As you travel the city, listen to your knowledgeable driver share information and anecdotes about the US capital and its many famous sights.
Get off your coach to visit certain landmarks independently. Join a guided tour (reserved for you in advance) of the US Capitol, where the Congress meets, and make the most of your photo stop at the White House South Lawn. At the White House Visitor Center, get a sense of what the White House looks like inside and learn about US presidents. Have lunch (at your own expense) at your choice of several locations; your guide will let you know when to return to the coach.
Pay your respects to the heroes of World War II at the stately World War II Memorial with its lovely fountains. Spend time exploring the vast collections at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
In the course of your tour, you'll also see the Washington Monument, FBI headquarters (J Edgar Hoover Building), Federal Triangle, Ellipse, Tidal Basin, National Archives, House and Senate Office Building, US Botanical Gardens, National Gallery of Art, US Navy Memorial and Grant Memorial ─ so keep your camera handy!

I highly recommend this tour. We got to see a lot of Washington DC in one day. It was a tiring day, but well worth the trip. Our guide was very informative.

Driver did a good job, was not aware when purchased that this also was an open top bus tho cooler below it would have been cooler yet with the back to the top not open. we chose this tour because of the heat in the area.

We enjoyed the tour very much. The only thing that would make it better is if it were to add a Smithsonian stop and maybe shorten some of the Memorial visit times. However, the bus driver did give us the option to be dropped off at the Smithsonian at the end of the tour. Then, we walked through the mall back to Union station-which was quite an adventure. So, it all worked out well for our family.

This was an awesome experience! I've done the tour before, but my mom and nephew hadn't. They both stated how much we were able to see in DC within the 8 hours. Just the right amount of tie was given at each stop to let you get the perfect amount of pictures. Also, out tour guide was awesome!
