Your day trip starts with a speedy ferry ride. As you travel across Puget Sound to Vancouver Island, keep a keen eye out for towering, snowcapped Mt Olympia and for killer whales breaching the waters. The journey is an adventure in itself.
Upon arriving in the charming city of Victoria, the capital of British Columbia and one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll board a deluxe motor coach to begin the land portion of your tour. After a brief drive, you’ll arrive at the famous Butchart Gardens.
You’ll have approximately 2 hours to explore the many wonders strewn across 55 acres (22 hectares) of lush world-class gardens. Stroll among the annuals and verdant walls of the Sunken Garden, linger under the arches of the romantic Rose Garden and contemplate the meaning of Zen as you walk beneath the fiery maple trees in the Japanese Garden. Stop to smell the perennials, admire the magnolias and photograph the chrysanthemums, depending on the season. Whatever path you choose, you can’t go wrong.
Then reboard the bus and head back to Victoria to explore the city on your own for the rest of the day. Come evening, you’ll get back on the ferry and enjoy a relaxing cruise back to Seattle in time for a late dinner.
Please note: A US passport, passport card, enhanced driver’s license or enhanced ID card (EDL/ID) is required to cross the US/Canadian border. If you are not a United States or Canadian born citizen you will be required to have a passport and possibly a visa.

Ferry ride was good and the Butchart Gardens being absolutely beautiful, a must see.

We had a great time. The boat was very clean and pleasant. The bus tour to and from the gardens was awesome. The Gardens themselves were beautiful and well maintained. Our biggest regret is that we only had a day to do all of this. The next time we are in the area, we will need to spend 2 or three days to really appreciate all that is there.

Not enough time at Butchart. Not enough city tour. Way too much shopping time!

The ferry ride was smooth. It's clean and crew were friendly. The bus ride to butchart was entertaining and informative, thanks to the bus driver. The garden is beautiful! Victoria city is beautiful! Will definitely will book with Viator again in the future.

This is a long day, however a very nice trip. The Victoria Clipper was clean and the staff was friendly. Butchart Gardens are beautiful and well worth the trip.

my trip was excellent. The Victoria Clipper IV was clean and the wait staff was courteous and efficient. Our trip to Buchart Gardens was superb. I wished we could have stayed longer. We had high high ta at The Empress. It was a fabulous day.

I'm blanking out on the name of our tour guide, but he was very good. This was a sentimental trip for me to Victoria, British Columbia and the Butchart Gardens, so I had stored memories. It was a pleasant trip altogether except for a rough spot a third of the way on the Clipper from Seattle to Victoria. Butchart Gardens is breathtakingly beautiful, hands down. We also did the Afternoon Tea at the Empress Fairmont Hotel in Victoria, which was made more memorable for me by the super delicious Fairmont scone. Well worth the big bucks for this experience.
