Meet in the NW corner of Telfair Square, directly across from the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences. Then follow your guide as they show you how to enjoy Savannah the way Savannahians do - with a drink in hand. Learn the city’s most interesting history on a late afternoon stroll while sampling some favorite Southern libations. One of them was even invented in Savannah over 200 years ago! Along the way, you will pick up a little knowledge while also enjoying historically Savannah-centric libations from a few of downtown's finer watering holes.
Stops/drinks included in ticket price:
" Jazz'd Tapas Bar for Madeira wine, a favorite drink in 19th century Savannah. No drinking on an empty stomach, so Jazz'd will also provide their Baked Cheese Terra Cotta plate, specially chosen to pair with the wine, for sharing with your fellow travelers.
" Savannah Bee Company for a mead tasting. An all-things-honey gift shop, Savannah Bee is buzzing over their excitement to have you sample 5 different artisanal meads at their mead bar. The tasting concludes with a tiny treat- a little piece of chocolate from local chocolatier Adam Turoni!
" The17Hundred90 Inn and Restaurant for mint juleps, that most famous of Southern cocktails. We'll breeze into their bar, grab these cool, minty refreshments, then amble over to Columbia Square. Imbibe your drinks while drinking in the beauty around you as the sun begins to set on the city.
" The Pirates' House for samples of Savannah's signature drink- Chatham Artillery Punch. The drink and the building both originated in Savannah sometime in the 18th century and both are the stuff of legend.
You'll be finished up - and loosened up just in time to go and grab a bite to eat, where you can impress the people at the table next to you with all the tales of Savannah you learned along the way!行程概要出發地點

The tour was fun and informative but greatly overpriced. All of us in our group disposed of at least one beverage without finishing it. I would not recommend this tour @ 80 a person.

Not what we expected. The first stop was cancelled since they had run out of wine at the Tapa Bar per our tour guide. This was the stop where we were to be served some tapas along with our drink and it looked to be a really fun place. I would have been happy to just get another type of drink and still go there but our guide did not agree. The next stop was the mead tasting and that was great, The next stop was for Mint Juleps that were excellent but our tour guide Bonnie had bartender put the the drinks in plastic cups to go since she felt the bar was too busy. Being this was my first Mint Julep and such a cool bar I was very disappointed we were unable to get the drink served a in pretty glass as the other guests and time to enjoy the bar a bit. The last stop was for Chatham Artillery Punch at the Pirate Bar. I was really looking forward to this stop but once again out guide had the bartender put our drinks in plastic to go cups. We really enjoyed the group and the history part of the tour was very nice but at 160 a couple we just expected much more.

Our guide was excellent and it was a good way to tour on foot a lot of the lesser-known haunts in Savannah.
-
Very informative. Both my wife and I enjoyed it very much.
-
We had a great time with Bonnie on this tour. Lots of history of the various drinks we had, and we covered a lot of Savannah while enjoying some food and beverages. A lot of fun!
-
Tour guide was late. Some places we were taken were not ready for us. We had to wait to get in places and for our drinks. We didn't learn any new information or insights on the tour. We were glad when it was over. We did have fun with the other people on the tour though.

So happy I booked this tour! Bonnie was a great tour guide. She is incredibly knowledgeable and this tour made our trip. Interesting stops along the tour as well as choices of drinks that reflect either the south or Savannah culture.
-
What had a blast and learned a lot, even in the pouring rain! Highly recommend. Lots of interesting, fun Savannah history and several delicious drinks!
