the tour was outstanding not only learned more about the characters in the movie but some historical information about Savannah. The tour guide was excellent. My sister-in-law and I told people we met to take this tour since it was very good.

Very good tour. Great background on the book, the movie and the city. Martin was an excellent host. Nice midpoint stop at the Market for a quick break. Very glad we took this tour. Recommend for all -- just make sure you read the book and/or watch the movie first...so Martin's stories have meaning and depth

I had read the book but my husband knew nothing about it. Both of us really enjoyed the tour. Our guide did a wonderful job of telling us all of the interesting tidbits as we walked through the town. He had a great way of presenting the information. It was fascinationg.. I highly recommend the tour.

Group of 8 made it perfect for the walking tour. Martin,our guide, was very engaging and gave good background to the book and movie. Need to be familiar with the movie or book to really get the most out of the tour, I think.. Locations from film were all covered as well as further stories along the walk that made for a most interesting afternoon. We went in afternoon in October and weather was perfect. Not too much walking and at a pace that most could handle even if not regular walkers..

This tour was a relaxing stroll through the city while talking about the book/movie. Our guide was quite knowledgeable on differences between the book and the movie, as well as the license taken with some of the story. He was very engaging, answered our questions, and also talked about some of the interesting facts about the city, like why some of the downspouts on the buildings look like fish! I loved the movie but my husband wasn't familiar with it. He enjoyed the tour as well, since it involved much of the history of the city and it's most fascinating characters over the years. I think we enjoyed the Mercer-Williams House tour more because of the things we learned on the tour. It even inspired us to go back to our condo and watch the movie! We were also taken to a nice market we never would have found on our own at the halfway point, in case anyone needed refreshments or a short break. I will be sharing this one with my friends who visit the city!

Being that "Midnight...... " was the reason I have always wanted to visit Savannah, I was really excited to see the sites and hear stories about the main characters and to "see what they saw". The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He did not disappoint. I highly recommend this tour.

Even though it rained and we waded through puddles, this walking tour was great fun. The guide was very knowledgeable of the book and movie, as well as Savannah in general. Highly recommend this tour.

This tour was by far my favorite! From all the details regarding the rich history of the city, the restaurants, the actual characters in the book and movie, it was enthralling. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and very professional. I would definitely do this for again!
