Begin your tour with pickup by Hummer at your hotel in Santa Barbara or Solvang and head off on a 7-hour, wine-fueled tour through the vineyards on the central coast of California. This area became famous thanks to the wine-centric movie Sideways, which was filmed here. You’ll see some of the movie locations and much more.You won’t be shuttled to free wine tastings. On this tour, you’ll be taken to high-quality tastings that guests pay a fee to attend (included in tour cost). Visit four wineries, cruising to each in either an open-air or a luxury enclosed Hummer. Along the way, sample up to 30 different local wines. An expert guide explains why the wines from the Santa Ynez Valley and the central coast of California are so good. Best of all, someone else does the driving.Eat a luscious picnic lunch at one of the wineries that includes a choice of one of 19 gourmet sandwiches.
