Start your 4-hour urban adventure through San Francisco with hotel pickup, and hop aboard a custom-made, open-air vehicle that provides views of the city’s historical and architectural highlights. This quirky 4-hour tour combines visits to notable landmarks with off-the-beaten-path stops at interesting alleys, murals and movie locations.
As you traverse the city, listen to your entertaining guide share insightful and humorous facts. Marvel at Twin Peaks, gawk at the art deco towers of the Golden Gate Bridge, and meander through Golden Gate Park and the diverse neighborhoods of San Francisco. You'll recognize scenes from movies like Hitchcock's Vertigo, find hidden artwork and discover some secrets unknown to even locals. In addition, this memorable tour includes stops at any events happening that day.
After sightseeing, you’re dropped off at Pier 33 for the 15-minute ferry ride to Alcatraz Island. When you land on ‘the Rock,’ receive a brief history of Alcatraz before heading into the cell block to learn about the former federal prison, which operated here from 1934 to 1963.
Alcatraz is a self-guided activity using the provided audio tour 'Doing Time' — just slip on your headphones and listen to real interviews from former inmates and guards. Expect to spend up to 2.5 hours with the audio tour; you can explore the prison grounds and stay as long as you wish before hopping back on the ferry to return to San Francisco’s Pier 33, where your tour ends (ferry departs every 30-40 minutes).行程概要出發地點

Excellent day trip for all visitors to San Francisco. Eric is an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and really attentive to all guests.
Sightseeing trip was excellent with good viewpoint for all, along with natural air conditioning and blankets for those who got chilly!
Good narrative along the route and at each stop. Eric ensures everyone enjoys themselves and drops you at Alcatraz ferry point, ensuring everyone gets their Alcatraz tickets.

Small group city tour with very incentive guide. The open minibus was a good way to explore San Francisco. The weather might be a bit cold, but Eric provide carpets and jackets for those, who need it, so it was not an issue. Eric knows a lot about the town, and could tell lots of good stories and give tips for things to do and see. We enjoyed the trip and the Alcatraz part was also amazing.

Eric was great. My wife and I and our daughters (15 and 11) loved the the tour. We got a great flavor for the neighborhoods and saw all the key sites. Riding in the ope air truck was a lot of fun. It is a total group of only 10. We were able to meet other travelers from Australia and Germany which added to the experience. Eric also made sure our Alcatraz tickets were ready. I highly recommend this tour

My entire family loved this trip. We recommend you take this tour as soon as you can in San Francisco so you will know about places you will want to visit during your stay.

We had such a great time! We loved that the tour was a small group and customizable to what our group wanted to see, not just to what we were supposed to see while in San Francisco. Loved learning about the different areas and being able to drive through and see just about everything we wanted. We HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! Eric knows a lot about the area and was a great tour guide! Saw many wonderful city sites and the Golden Gate Bridge! It is a small group tour which makes it ideal! At the end of his tour he takes you to the ferry for the Alcatraz Tour and makes sure you have the tickets needed.

Highly recommend this fun urban adventure in an awesome little safari type truck. Eric was an amazing guide who took us on an excursion coverin pretty much the entire city. Lunch at Gus's Market was outstanding. Would have liked to stop for pictures in Haight-Ashbury but at least we got to see the area. Ended the morning and early afternoon when Eric dropped us off at the Alcatraz ferry for the rest of our adventure. Highly recommend this tour with Eric!

well worth the money, Rick was full of information very friendly and amiable and took us all over San Francisco. We saw more on this one trip than we would have done by going it alone. We thoroughly enjoyed it and he even got our Alcatraz tickets to save us queueing etc.i have been telling everyone I know to do this

Very nice trip for 1 hour but the car broke so we missed the rest 3 hours. We got 75 of the fee back but we missed a lot of San Fransisco.

This isn't your regular city sightseeing tour. It's much more interesting and fun! Imagine you are going to be shown the sights by a guide who lives in the city, knows it's neighborhoods, and is willing to alter the itinerary to suit the interests of the 10 or so passengers in his open-sided vehicle. That's what this tour offers.
Eric, the owner/operator, is someone who seems genuinely interested in meeting and interacting with his guests. He obviously loves to show people around SF, and that comes across on the tour. You will see a few things the regular tours won't show you, and have a great time to boot.
Highly recommended!
