Your beer and food tour starts with pickup from downtown San Francisco hotels by open-air vehicle. With your in-the-know guide, set off and admire the city skyline as you cruise through downtown to your first stop.
Arrive at a beloved local brewery, where you'll take a behind-the-scenes tour with a brewmaster to see how craft beer is made in the City by the Bay. Have you tried beer and chocolate together? If not, now’s your chance to find out why they pair so surprisingly well.
Then it’s off to other parts of the city, where you'll continue your foodie exploration in neighborhoods like techie South of Market (SoMa), artisanal Dogpatch or the hippy Haight. Try Pacifico beer paired with a carnitas taco dorado, a Mission district favorite; taste yerba mate infused IPA with Argentine empanadas; and sample bourbon-and-cornflake ice cream at a high-end ice cream parlor. Craft beer is provided on the tour vehicle so you can continue the fun between stops.Still hungry? Good, because next up is a beer flight with beer-sauteed mussels, or perhaps winter brews paired with bacon-wrapped 'Chomp Dogs.' Between beers and bites, you’ll see hidden attractions and landmarks that most visitors don't visit. Drive past the crookedest street in town (it's not Lombard Street), admire the historic Beach Chalet, see colorful murals and more.

- Was a Great day tasting beers, exploring the city and eating delicious local bar food. I absolutely recommend this tour. Our guide was really fun and extremely knowledgeable, giving us tons of information about the beers we were trying and also about all the places we were passing by. I had a fantastic day at all.
- I had a GREAT time on the beer and bites tour! My boyfriend was visiting from out of town and we were looking for something fun to do both for a tourist and a local and this was the perfect choice! We both saw some major sights, amazing views of the city and drove up and down the steep SF hills, and also were taken to more off-the-beaten path, local neighborhoods and breweries. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and this tour took me to breweries I had never been to and to neighborhoods I had never even set foot in! Our guide Eric was clearly very knowledgeable about the Bay Area craft brewing scene--he customizes the tours daily based on what's new and personal preferences of those on the tour. We tried a wide variety of delicious craft beers, learned more about the brewing process and the history of craft brewing in the Bay Area and were treated to some seriously delicious BBQ, artisanal chocolates, and more. All in all, great experience for locals and tourists alike!

i booked this for my mom's first trip to the bay, instead of normal, dry, wine tasting. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Eric, our guide, was funny and knowledgable about the beers and locations and everything in between. even as a local, he pointed out things i wasn't aware of in the city. i would recommend anyone, local or out of towner, if you like good beer, good food, and the bay, BOOK THIS TOUR. i'm 100 sure i'll be doing it again with others.
