You’ll be picked up from your downtown or Fisherman’s Wharf hotel in the morning for your 4- to 5-hour San Francisco sightseeing tour by comfortable 13-passenger van.Your guide will show you the city from a local’s perspective, taking you to hidden spots that you wouldn’t normally see on a big bus tour. Of course, you’ll also make photo stops at iconic landmarks and attractions such as Coit Tower, Union Square and Chinatown, and other places you request to see.Next, venture north across the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge to reach the charming bayside town of Sausalito, where you’ll have time to explore on your own and enjoy lunch (own expense). There are plenty of art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants worth visiting in this quaint, picturesque town.You’ll then hop on the ferry (one-way ticket included) and cruise along San Francisco Bay back to San Francisco. Throughout your 25-minute ride, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city skyline.When the days are longer, after your Sausalito ferry arrives at Pier 41 or Pier 1, hop off and walk along The Embarcadero to nearby Pier 33. In the winter, your Alcatraz adventure is reserved for the following day. At Pier 33, you’ll board a 15-minute ferry to Alcatraz Island. This infamous landmark was once a federal penitentiary, housing such notorious criminals as Al Capone (Scarface) and Machine Gun Kelly.After receiving a brief history of Alcatraz, explore the prison grounds on a fascinating audio walking tour, complete with life-like sound effects and real interviews from former inmates and guards.The tour takes up to 2.5 hours, and you can stay as long as you like on Alcatraz before hopping back on the ferry (departs every 30 minutes) and returning to San Francisco.行程概要出發地點

It was a good tour. However, we were mostly driving in a van. Only made two short stops 10-15 minutes in San Francisco. Alcatraz is worth visiting.

If you are going to do just one tour while in SFO this is the one you should do. Our tour guide was Phil and he was very knowledgeable about the city, the tour was with a small number of people which made it very private and quaint.We did three tours while in SFO and this was by far the best one!! We actually got to see all of the hot spots in the city and then did Alcatraz at the end of the day. Well worth the money!!!

We did a reverse tour of Alcatraz in the AM and city tour in afternoon, the Bay Cruise was cancelled as it was July 4th no fault of operator. We did the self guided audio tour of Alcatraz, it was very informative and easy to follow. Our tour guide, Phil Siegel from was fantastic. As we were on a small bus, he was able to take us to places that the big tour buses cannot go. He is very knowledgeable and fun, the entire afternoon was a great pleasure, we learned a lot!

The tour was fine and informative - but we do feel that we got dumped and ended up with additional cost to get back to where we started - just to get our transportation back to our hotel. We knew we would not get picked up at our hotel - but to not have been taken back to the pick up area was so wrong.

Alcatraz was great. The City Tour was also amazing. The guide we had was very informative and knew his stuff about the city. His microphone was a bit mumbly at times and I found it difficult to hear all that he was saying. Otherwise we were very impressed with the service.

Really enjoyed the tour - only disappointment was that we were meant to go on a morning tour but it was changed to an afternoon tour the day before - we missed out on driving over the golden gate bridge or getting anywhere near it - just spent to long on other things that we didn't really need to see and not on the big things like the golden gate bridge. by changing it to an afternoon tour meant we had to deal with afternoon traffic etc.
