Each shop and restaurant was prepared in advance for our arrival, with reserved seats and ready-to-serve freshly prepared food. We went into a variety of specialty stores, churches, and restaurants, and learned a little bit of the area's history on the way. Walking was easy and leisurely. We ate so much that the tour served as lunch and dinner for the day!

Absolutely loved this tour, highly recommend it and be sure to NOT EAT BEFORE. Went with my sis and a girlfriend, There was 5 of us, all females our fantastic guide Patsy. Our guide was brilliant, she lives locally in the Russian Hill neighborhood and had visited and eaten in all the local hangouts we visited and was very familiar with their histories and generations of family members still running the cafe's and restaurants. I'm a native Californian and I have been going to San Francisco on a frequent basis for over 50 years and I can't tell you how much I learned from Patsy. I learned about what it really means to be Shanghaied, the history of San Francisco and the related Gold Rush in Sacramento and the Barbary Coast - what a wild place! We had 7 stops and so much to eat I had to take doggie bags home. The tour was worth every dollar and would recommend it to not only the tourists but the locals as well. Thank you for putting together an excellent tour, not only for the yummy food but the amazing history.

Blandina Farley was a wonderful guide for the North Beach tour. She lives in the area and knows the streets, business owners, and history. She was a delight and the food we had mostly excellent.. I would happily recommend this tour to others.

Three of us took the tour yesterday and it was one of the best tours we have taken . The Tour Guide was wonderful and could not have done a better job. She knew all the history of North Beach and has lived there for years. She took us on a wonderful food tour as well. We all had the best time.

Our tour guide had so much information to share, we learned so much about the city and the food was pretty incredible too. And it was a lot of food! Definitely worth the money! There is a lot of walking so I would keep that in mind.
