You will meet your personal epicurean concierge in front of the Ferry Building Marketplace, which houses some of the most well-known food purveyors in San Francisco. The Ferry Building and Ferry Plaza Farmers Market are staples for the city's most talked-about chefs, and you will be guided through the market place to experience San Francisco as a local!
You'll taste organic cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery and sample sourdough bread from ACME Bread Company. Try fresh-baked fruit and vegetable tartlets from Frog Hollow Farm in nearby Brentwood, munch on the French macaroons from Miette Patisserie; and taste chocolates from Recchiuti Confections. All tastings are included on this great-value tour, so be sure to work up an appetite!

We went as a family of 4 and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was Tori, she is very knowledgeable both about food and the local history. Lots of great food to try, we certainly didn’t go home hungry. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I had a great experience on the Ferry Building food tour. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. The food was incredible. There was a lot of it which was great. We were stuffed at the end of the tour. I went back to some of the stores/restaurants afterward to purchase items to bring home.

We thought that the food on this tour was fine, but the Ferry Plaza was so crowded and noisy on the day that we went, that we could barely hear what our tour guide was saying. The information on the tour was about the stores and the owners - which to be honest, wasn't very exciting or interesting to an out-of-towner. We would've rather heard about the history of the area we were in, or even the history of the food scene in San Francisco.

Very educational and enjoyed the incredible food. Went back later and bought some chili from Prather Ranch, bread from Acme, olive oils and some delicious jam for our Anniversary dinner at our room.

Quinn was the best guide. His interest and personal appreciation of each vendor made the tour such fun! There were only three of us on the tour so it was very low key and individualized. I would call this a don't miss if you have already seen the major tour stops.

Sophia was a fantastic guide in the food market and ferry building. Bring your appetite, you will have a great 2 hour tour. We will do this again on our next trip to S.F.

Great tour! Excellent, knowledgeable guide. My only complaint is that there was so much food. Lots of samples, too large. Guide was very accommodating about me being vegetarian.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! Try to do this on a Saturday when all of the vendors are selling local products! By far our favorite tour and day in San Francisco!
