San Francisco is known for its many hilly streets, but on this 3.5-hour bike tour, you’ll avoid steep hills and major roads and pedal at a casual pace, making stops along the way to rest, take photos and learn about the sights from your guide.Pedal through the trendy Hayes Valley neighborhood and historic Civic Center, home to City Hall. Check out street art in the Mission District and ride along the flat ‘wiggle’ route through Lower Haight to the world-famous Haight-Ashbury district, the epicenter of the 1960s hippie movement.Explore the lush oasis of Golden Gate Park, cycle through the hip NoPa neighborhood and pause at Alamo Square to admire the Painted Ladies, a row of iconic Victorian houses with the downtown San Francisco skyline beyond.Your 10-mile (16-km) ride lasts between 3 and 3.5 hours, depending on rest stops.
