Your 4-hour private tour and guided adventure in the City by the Bay begins at the famous Fisherman’s Wharf. From there, you’ll travel all over San Francisco with narration from your guide that will illuminate the city’s rich history and the stories behind its iconic structures and natural wonders.
Get your camera ready for brief photo stops at San Francisco’s most famous landmarks. Appreciate the architectural beauty of the Palace of Fine Arts and its lagoon that elegant swans like to call home. See the towering eucalyptus trees in the Presidio as you ride through its winding scenic roads.
Then it’s on to Golden Gate Park, which boasts 1,017 acres (412 hectares) of rolling grasslands, cypress trees and some of the city’s best museums, the California Academy of Sciences and the de Young Museum. For an urban park, it has quite a wild side — coyotes, hawks and even bison call it home. You’ll learn about San Francisco’s Gold Rush days, Spanish missionaries and Native Americans on your drive through the park, which stretches from the center of the city all the way to the Pacific Ocean.
See the most famous architecture in San Francisco, the ornate, colorful Victorian homes that fill Haight-Ashbury and other neighborhoods. Your drive continues through the bright bustling streets of Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in North America and the largest Chinese community outside of Asia, and on through neighboring North Beach, which still has lots of Italian charm.
