A great half day tour. Parking at Muir is poor so this one combined with the ferry return is a nice half day ending up at Fisherman’s Wharf.

This is a great way to get to Muir Woods. You will learn so much about SF while you are in your way, our driver Ray explained everything while on the way. Once you get to the Woods, it is so breath taking. We really enjoyed this tour and recommend it to anyone looking to get to Muir Woods.

just enough time for us to see the redwoods and grab a quick lunch after in sausalito. if you want to hike and then sightsee, book a longer trip.

visited the Redwood trees of Muir woods and Sausalito on half day trip, really enjoyed the experience, had perfect amount of time to do all we wanted, the guide was so friendly and helped pass the time on way to the woods with interesting facts about the woods and through San Francisco, told us the best places and ways to see both the Redwoods and Sausalito in the time we had, and stopped for 10 mins to get pictures from ovre the Golden Gate bridge which we did not expect but appreciated, nice treat and a worthwhile experience

I love half day tours, and this was a perfect way to spend our morning. If you have a choice between morning and afternoon time slot, choose the morning. (I won't talk about the redwoods, it's fabulous, everyone else will comment about that, but will tell you things others won't write about) This means that you will get to Sausalito around noon. This is a nice place to eat lunch while you watch the sailboats on the harbor.. The tour only gives you 45 minutes in Sausalito. I recommend ending your tour bus tour here ( they will basically take you back to union square, the tour is for the most part done at this point) and getting a leisurely lunch at one of the harbor restaurants and look at the cute shops there. Then finding your ride back to San Fran on your own at your leisure. You can buy a ferry ticket ( no need to purchase it ahead of time), or you can Uber it back. You will be dropped off next to Bank Of America - 750 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965. Besure to stop at Lappert's Ice Cream shop on 689 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965 and get ice cream. I had the Macademia and coconut, it was out of this world! Here are some restaurants near there that the tour guide talks about. Research ahead of time, and find the one you like. It's hard to make to make up your mind as he talks. I hope you enjoy your tour!, I know i did

Saylor's Restaurant and Bar -
Great trip and felt like you did so much in the half day time frame! Muir Woods was beautiful and we got 90 minutes to walk through the redwood trees. Sausalito was a wonderful place to walk through shops and eat lunch. Instead of doing the ferry or bus back...we took a lyft to Marin headlands and walked the trails down to the Golden Gate Bridge got stunning views! Then we walked across the golden gate back to San Francisco.

My husband and I very much enjoyed Muir Woods. We had a great burger in Sausiltio. I enjoyed the bus ride, the trees, the shopping.

The guide was outstanding, gave informative and interesting facts of the area and locals. Made a unscheduled stop at the golden gate area to take a picture, the day was sunny and not cold so it made it all more worth it. My niece and nephew (teens) were very happy with our last day in San Francisco.

Joe was a wonderful host. We learned many things about San Francisco and the surrounding area while experiencing great beauty! I was disappointed in the fact that Muir Woods was not accessible but it was not the tour's fault. Love the government shutdown!
