Feel free to hop on and off the trolley or double-decker bus as much as you like during your whirl around San Francisco. The loop takes about two hours to complete from start to finish if you stay on the vehicle. With your 48-hour ticket, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the sights at your leisure. Simply re-board the trolley when you’re ready to go to your next destination. All of the trolleys and buses have enclosed areas where you can keep warm in the winter.

Stop 1: Fisherman's Wharf / Information CenterCorner of North Point and Taylor Street (across the street from the Information Center)
The world-famous wharf is dotted with old factories and warehouses now converted into shops and restaurants such as the Cannery and the chocolatey paradise that is Ghirardelli Square. Visit the San Francisco Maritime Historic Park at Hyde Street Pier and Aquatic Park, or hop on a cable car on Hyde Street hill.
Stop 2: Cow Hollow
Lombard Street at Gough (in front of Town House Motel)
This convenient stop for hotels on Van Ness and Lombard is within walking distance of the Crookedest Street in the World.
Stop 3: Golden Gate Bridge (joining point for Sausalito Loop)
Vista Point
Enjoy great views of San Francisco’s skyline and Alcatraz Island. At this access point you can walk a span of the Golden Gate Bridge.Stop 11: North Beach / Little Italy
Stop 4: Golden Gate Park / California Academy of Sciences
Concourse Drive, in front of Academy of Sciences (Sundays and Holidays: 8th Avenue and Fulton)
Visit the Music Concourse and attractions of Golden Gate Park such as the de Young Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, the San Francisco Botanical Garden and Japanese Tea Garden. Also nearby: Boat rentals at Stow Lake.
Stop 5: Haight-Ashbury
Haight Street at Stanyan (in front of McDonald's)
This eclectic district, famous for its role in the 1960’s hippie movement, is still a center for bohemian culture. It's lined with one-of-a-kind shops, trendy cafes, bars and restaurants.
Stop 6: Civic Center Plaza
City Hall (at McAllister and Van Ness)
The plaza features the beaux-arts City Hall with its massive gold-leaf covered dome, the War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall and the Asian Art Museum.
Stop 7: Hilton Hotel
Corner of Taylor and Ellis
You are within walking distance of the Westfield Shopping Center and Market Street’s Muni and BART stations.
Stop 8: Union Square
Geary Street at Powell (across from Macy’s)
This central shopping and theater district features department stores, upscale boutiques, art galleries, salons, grand hotels and repertory theaters. Shop at Westfield San Francisco Centre, or hop on a cable car.
Stop 9: Chinatown Gate
Grant Street at Bush, across from Chinatown Gate
Photograph the Dragon Gate entry to Chinatown, and see San Francisco’s very own French Quarter near the Financial District.
Stop 10: Barbary Coast / Chinatown
Kearny Street, between Clay and Washington (across from Portsmouth Square)
See where Chinatown meets the Financial District and the Barbary Coast.
Columbus Avenue at Powell
Enjoy cultured cafes, restaurants and gelaterias. Walk to Coit Tower, Lombard Street, and Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Stop 12: Alcatraz Landing
On the Embarcadero, between Pier 35 and Pier 33
This is the departure point for ferries and tours to infamous Alcatraz Island.
Stop 13: Pier 39 / Aquarium of the Bay

Great way to see the city. Tour very informative and friendly.

San Francisco is now my 2nd favorite city. The tours were great and the drivers perfect and fun.

Tour guides were awesome. Not many stops and some were inconvenient to where we wanted to go.

The most annoyance of this experience was trying to find the Viator office to redeem our tickets. Once the office was found and instructions were provided, the tour was fine.

The tour was well organized and convenient to use. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and brought up many interesting points. This is the way to see SF the cost of parking and the traffic make it worth while.

Don't do, way to cold!!! The Trolley needs plastic roll down windows to help with the wind and cold.
the trolley doesn't stop for pictures, it would be better to take the half-day tour bus! Our guide however was good and tried to make our tour pleasant, but we were frozen! -
Would not honor our pre-paid voucher for two day pass.
