I highly recommend this tour with thoughtful comments on culture and history. Kathy was a delight and very attentive to all members of the tour.

This tour was very informative and blended interesting trivia with big moments in San Francisco history during the Harvey Milk era and the AIDS epidemic. Our guide touched on important topics with grace. The attendees were diverse, both in geography and age. It included two elementary-school aged kids. There was about 5 minutes where their mother took them away from the group as adult topics were being discussed, but it was a short time and the family seemed to enjoy the entire tour. The tour starts and ends right in the heart of the Castro, which made it very easy for us to find something to do after the tour concluded. My friend and I both really enjoyed this tour!

I as the only person on this tour so it was very special to be able to have such a personal tour. I had this trip cancelled the time before I was in San Francisco so it was doubly a pleasure this time. Definitely learnt so much about the history. A must for me to do the next time I am there

For anyone visiting San Francisco who is a member of the Rainbow community, has loved ones who are or simply wishes to learn more about the Castro or the gay rights movement, this tour is an absolute must do! Kathy is an extraordinarily warm, knowledgable and attentive tour guide!

Kathy was warm and welcoming mixing a deep understanding of the history of the area and the people with a fun, up to date and very local view. For anyone who is at all interested in civil rights, this trip is for you.

This is a terrific tour for anyone visiting San Francisco or for anyone who lives in SF and wants to know more about their community. Tour guide Kathy is a wonderful knowledgeable person who has lived in the Castro for at least a decade. She knows the history of the community as well as the history of human rights in her country. I can't recommend this tour enough. Other people in our tour group today were interested and enthusiastic and a pleasure to be with. Take this tour - you'll love it!
