After morning pickup from your central San Diego hotel, travel to San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido by comfortable, air-conditioned sedan, van, coach or other vehicle appropriate for the size of that day's group. The fascinating San Diego Zoo Safari Park (admission not included) features an incredible 1-hour monorail ride that allows you amazingly close-up views of a wide array of African and Asian animals. Witness tigers, giraffes, gazelles, rhinos, gorillas, cranes, California condors and many other animals roaming environments mirroring their natural habitats. Test your knowledge of wildlife facts at the interactive Animal Trackers show, watch elephants perform amazing feats, and enjoy a variety of talks and demonstrations by animal keepers throughout the day.
You will have approximately 8 hours to spend at the park before boarding your transport vehicle for the ride back to central San Diego. Relax and reflect upon your day with your family before being dropped off at your hotel around 5pm.

Had a great time at safari park, but would not recommend five star tours to anyone.

Driver was late to pick us up.
Driver took on extra passengers on the drive back plus he brought a friend along. -
It was convenient. But the local operator needs to have our cellphones handy in case of delays in pick-up as what happened to our group. There was some accident on the freeway which we were not aware of and so the pick-up was delayed by an hour. It wasnt fun staying out in the cold for over an hour, especially since there were kids with us in the group.

No complaints as the rides were on time and comfortable. Would have liked it if the driver would talk to us and act as a guide. Thanks Viator - you did a good job again!
