Once we reach out the top of the hill, we'll be able to see magnificent scenery.

Our tour guide was Chris. We traveled in a van since it was a small group of people. There was about 8 of us. I had read the reviews of other people concerning the road leading to the Kennecott Copper Mine. It was very narrow and steep getting to the mine. Chris went out of his way to assure everyone that he had driven this road many many times before. He pointed out many areas of the road and surrounding land that the mine owns. He stopped so that we could take pictures of the beautiful mountains and the Great Salt Lake. He was very knowledgeable of the whole area that we visited. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Salt Lake City.

A mention should have been made about the very scary narrow one way road to the top. For people who are afraid of heights this is a very unpleasant trip.

We greatly enjoyed this trip our trip. The guide was very informative and knowledgable. The drive up to the top of the copper mine is not for the feint hearted! It is very steep with some sheer drops but the views from the top are worth it. The Great Salt Lake is a must to see if you are visiting the city. We enjoyed both parts of the tour.

This was a very interesting worthwhile half day tour. Our driver was very informative and shared many interesting stories and clearly enjoys his job. Was great to be able to paddle in part of the salt lake. The air conditioned vehicle was very comfortable and we had some good views of the Salt Lake area on our way up.
Not sure what we would have done with ourselves on such a hot day if this tour had not been available at short notice.

I thought it was an amazing trip. To be able to see down into the copper mine was an experience I will not forget.

The guide was very informative and entertaining. Ages of those in the tour appeared to range from middle 30's to middle 70's and everyone seemed to have a good time.

I was disappointed in this tour. We were still a long way from the mine. I know this is because of the landslide two years ago, but we didn't get very close. Couldn't see any thing without binoculars. That said, I really enjoyed the trip up the mountain, the views were spectacular! Our guide , Chris, was great. He seemed very knowledgeable and made the trip very pleasant.

The tour of the mine was great---the driver, Chris, was very informative and patient-----even took our picture and spotted lots of wildlife while driving back to the city-------we appreciated the changing of the bus as the AC was not working and it was HOT------thanks.
