Depart your Phoenix area hotels for a 'Ladies Only' day of sightseeing, shopping and wine! Travel from Phoenix to the beautiful red rocks of Sedona where you will experience the unforgettable Tlaquepaque Plaza. This quaint artist colony was built to resemble a centuries old Mexican village. Once there, you can stroll along the cobblestone walkways and visit the numerous galleries and unique shops that live in complete harmony with the grounds lush, natural environment. The Giant Sycamore is a true testament to the dedication and preservation of the timeless beauty of the Tlaquepaque grounds.
After departing Sedona, you will head to Alcanterra Vineyards and Winery in the heart of the Verde Valley. Here, they grow over 13,000 vines and numerous types of grapes. As you sample the many different varieties of wine that Alcaterra offers, you can enjoy a view of the Verde River that runs through and around the estate. You may even get lucky and catch a glimpse of the Bald Eagles that frequent this area. Feel free to bring a snack or picnic basket to enjoy outside on the balcony or grassy knolls.
After this relaxing experience we will depart back to Phoenix, stopping en-route at the Anthem Outlet Shopping Center where you can indulge to your hearts content in shopping for name brand fashions in over 60 designer shops such as Coach, Nike, Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren and more.
