    Confirmation will be received at time of booking Not recommended for pregnant travelers Not recommended for travelers with back problems TOUR REQUIREMENTS* All riders must wear a helmet (your own or provided by Philly by Segway). All riders must bring valid identification. All riders must read and sign a waiver of liability. Segway riders must be 12-years-old or older. If a rider is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who can sign the waiver form. All riders must weigh between 100lbs - 300lbs. All riders must complete Segway training to their guide's satisfaction. RECOMMENDED ATTIRE* Please keep in mind that you will be standing for the duration of your tour - these recommendations are for your comfort and safety: Wear comfortable but not loose clothing. Wear secure, flat, comfortable shoes, preferably close-toed sneakers or athletic shoes. Flip-flops, high heels, or wedges are not appropriate. DRESS FOR THE WEATHER - we ride rain or shine. If it is a cold day, dress as if you are going skiing (gloves, hat, coat, etc.). If it is a hot, sunny day, wear sunscreen, bring sunglasses, and a water bottle. You will be outside for the duration of your tour. YOUR TOUR* Please arrive early. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. After you check in, there will be a 30 minute training session including an instructional video. You must complete this training to your guide's satisfaction - even if you've ridden a Segway before. Once everyone is trained and feels confident riding a Segway, we start the tour! DISCLAIMER* Philly by Segway reserves the right to decline a tour to anyone. It is imperative that riders follow guide instructions for their safety and the safety of the group. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

    Knowing we had only one day in Philly, and coming off running almost 200 miles the previous two, I knew a walking tour was not in the cards. I found this company on Trip Advisor, and I couldn't have been happier. My group and I had never been on Segways before, but Barry did an amazing job of getting us acquainted with them, and we felt like pros by the time the tour was over. Barry was a great tour guide, and his ability to focus so successfully on our safety and simultaneously keep us entertained was really impressive!

    First, I would like to stress that Deshon was a great guide. We felt very safe navigating through the city. He was very knowledgeable about the landmarks and the history of Philadelphia.

    Unfortunately, the communication system, walkie-talkies, was a poor fit for this tour. The wind was blowing, so we whizzed by many significant landmarks without narration, only a crackling noise out of the walkies. We told D about the problem, so he gave us occasional updates when we were at traffic lights between attractions. He did the best he could with what he had.

    I would not recommend this tour. We had to return to the sights at the beginning of the tour, on foot, on our own, which defeated the purpose of the Segway tour.

    Was in town solo for the Rocky Run November and thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It was a great mix of historical and contemporary info and I felt we really got to see a good part of the city. I should have brought my gloves due to the cold - but luckily I found some in their lost and found to borrow! The cafe stop for a break, Argentine coffee and empanadas was totally awesome! I would highly recommend!

    This was a great tour, the only complaint was the weather It was very cold. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and he looked out for me, thank you Barry!

    Ben was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide. It was the first time for me on a Segway and it's super easy to figure out through Ben's instruction. This tour is a great way to get oriented with historical sites and the general city center areas while Ben provided commentary. We returned back to several areas based upon what we had seen on the tour. Plus, it's fun riding on the Segways!

    This is an experience! These are so fun to cruise around on and as senior citizens we were a little concerned that we wouldn't get the hang of it. But within just a few minutes our teacher/tour guide had us going up and down hills and feeling confident enough to cruise the streets of Philly safely.
    As far as touring Philadelphia don't expect anything comprehensive it's just not possible in the time you have. It's more the fun of operating a Segway with a taste of Philadelphia's beauty and history.

    I am local, but I brought an exchange student on this tour and she had a wonderful time. Excellent guide and we got to see some things in the city that I did not know about. I plan on bringing my family back to do the tour with me after the summer is over.

    What fun! This was a great way to see Philadelphia in a short amount of time! So easy to ride and always felt safe. I plan on booking more Segway tours in the future.
