產品介紹
On this 90-minute guided walking tour, you'll visit Philadelphia's Champs Elysee and view the French planners, the flags, and the Holocaust memorial. Stop by Logan Circle, the Ecumenical Gallows, and Oxford: the Call to Ecumenism and the Hundred Year Council.
Scan the panorama mile from fountain side and see the Barnes, the Rodin, the Franklin Institute, Moore College, the Academy of Natural Science, the French Palace Twins, the Family Court and the free library. Meet Thomas Fitzsimmons, a Catholic signer of the Constitution and hear the story of the Great Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul.
Next, visit the Louvre, City Hall, and Loire Chateau. Meander about the deco-skyscrapers of the Avenue of The Arts, including the Kimmel roof over Verizon Hall, the lantern lit Academy of Music, and the University of the Arts. Hear the story of Macy's renaissance court. See the walls wherein hung Kandinsky’s passion week masterpieces The Trail and The Crucifixion and feel the great moments of silence of Good Friday. Stand on the steps and hear the story of finding home and Sister Mary Scully. Stand graveside near the son of William Penn at St. John’s Evangelistic Church, where two American saints were fostered. From here you'll move to the First Quaker meeting house in the U.S.
