Stop At: Elfreth's Alley, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
From here, weave through the charming back alleys of Old City and walk down Elfreth's Alley, one of the country’s oldest continuously occupied residential streets. In this vibrant neighborhood, you’ll pass trendy cafes, shops, art galleries and buildings featuring industrial architecture.

Stop At: Christ Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
When you reach Christ Church, where the Founding Fathers once worshiped, head inside (if it is open and available) to learn about the birth of the Episcopal Church in America. My husband and I had a great time. It was a beautiful day for a walking tour. Our tour guide was Nat, and he was awesome!! He was extremely knowledgeable and he was fun as well. I would highly recommend this tour. The town of Philadelphia has some great history.

Had a friend visiting from the west coast and i only had a few hours to give him a historical overview of our great city. Signed up for the 2:30 PM "Founding Fathers" tour and it was great! Our Tour guide, Howard was an extremely knowledgeable and helpful representative of the City of Brotherly Love and offer helpful ideas for dinner or events later that night as well. As for the tour, if you are looking to walk through some of these historical sites and really emerse yourself in the history, the 5 hour tour may be more of what you might like. Howard took his time and answered all our questions and we saw many of the places that helped make our great country what it is today. The tour lasted almost 3 hours. I highly recommend Howard and Urban Adventures Tours.

We walked several places in Philadelphia from the Liberty Bell to Historic alleyways, oodles of pcs of history and little known facts on this beautiful city.

Learned a lot about the history of Philadelphia and the role various historical figures played throughout its 300+ years. Local guide Dick was very knowledgeable and provided the inside info on many historical aspects of players and their accomplishments.
