Helicopter TourYou’ll be picked up from your hotel in Ko Olina, about 28 miles (45 km) west of Waikiki, at your pre-determined time. If you’re staying in Waikiki, please make your own way to Ko Olina.Your Oahu Super Saver begins with a thrilling 30-minute helicopter tour of Oahu’s south shore. View Ko Olina’s marina area from above, and spot the infamous Queen Anne’s Revenge and the vessel that inspired Captain Jack Sparrow’s ship in The Pirates of the Caribbean.Soak up sweeping bird's-eye views of Pearl Harbor, wherein lies the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri. As you fly over these landmarks, your pilot will explain why these are referred to as the ‘Bookends of World War II.’Up next is placid Keehi Lagoon, where ocean sports and activities are abundant, and historic Honolulu Harbor. See Aloha Tower, once the tallest structure on the island, as well cruise ships from distant ports. You'll then fly over the whole city of Honolulu.Above the city stands Punchbowl Crater, the site of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Soar above Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor, and spot vacationers lounging on world-famous Waikiki Beach. Admire iconic Diamond Head, and then turn and head over the University of Hawaii campus and up the Nu’uanu Pali section of Koolau mountain, where you’ll get an amazing view of Lulumahu Falls and a grand perspective of Honolulu.On your return to the resort area you’ll see the campus of Kamehameha Schools and Oahu’s Central Plain. Once you land, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Ko Olina.Dolphin Encounter and SnorkelingAfter hotel pickup, you'll be greeted by your friendly crew at the Ko Olina shore for a safety orientation. Enjoy some snacks and refreshments before hopping aboard a speedboat and zipping along the Pacific waters to three different sites thriving with spinner dolphins. Stop to view these amazing creatures up close and learn about them from your crew. During the winter months, you may also be treated to the sight of humpback whales, as well as a variety of rays and Hawaiian monk seals!After your dolphin encounter, receive a brief snorkel lesson, strap on your provided snorkel gear, and hop in the water to swim over a coral reef in search of vibrant fish and exotic sea creatures. Bring an underwater camera to capture your sightings!
