Above the city is the Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, set in a volcano crater. Your helicopter tour continues above Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Islands, the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and world-famous Waikiki Beach.

You'll view Diamond Head Crater from a dramatic perspective as you soar over the "Gold Coast", home to millionaires and the always spectacular Hanauma Bay. As you round the east end of Oahu, the vistas change to rugged coastline as you pass Sandy Beach and the lighthouse on Makapuu Point.

Your 30-minute helicopter tour concludes with stunning views of Mount Olomana and the Nuuanu Pali, where King Kamehameha's warriors battled to unite the islands.

The shuttle bus picked us up at our hotel on time and the driver was really nice. He took car of us from shuttle to helicopter. Bring 4 quarters for the locker if you have to lock anything up BTW. The Pilot was really nice and the tour was great. My wife and our 3 children went and all loved it. We did the shorter tour with doors on and it was perfect for us. Makani Kai took care of us! Mahalo!

It was a great tour. I had trouble understanding the pilot. I was on the side of the helicopter that was facing land and did not get much of a view of ocean.

This was our first time in an helicopter and it was great. The views were amazing it is a must do if you have time! Wish we had purchased a longer tour, 30 minutes is not enought time to see the whole island.
