Upon pickup from select Waikiki hotels, you’re transferred to He'eia State Park, located on the windward coast of Oahu. At the remote cliffside peninsula of Kaneohe Bay, you’re outfitted with a lifejacket, snorkeling gear and a waterproof dry bag for your belongings.
In a small, intimate group (16 person max capacity) your professionally trained kayak guide provides a comprehensive safety and educational briefing and paddling lesson on the waterfront. Once your guides help you into your kayak and attach it to the escort boat, everyone is towed for the first few minutes into the bay to ensure plenty of time at the snorkeling site.
Paddle to Coconut Island (aka Gilligan's Island) or one of the bay's remote and pristine patch reefs as your snorkeling destination (whichever will provide better snorkeling conditions for the day. Along the way, observe Kane'ohe Bay and its unique reefs, majestic views of the Ko'olau mountain range in the backdrop, and keep your eyes peeled for marine life you may encounter. Upon reaching the snorkeling site, your guides will provide a snack and drink, and get you ready to snorkel among the healthiest living coral reef on Oahu. Keep an eye out for a variety of tropical reef fish, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, and many other wonderful creatures that call the reef their home. If you're really lucky, you might even see a Manta Ray or Spotted Eagle Ray!
After snorkeling and refueling with granola bars, juice and water provided at the snorkeling site, it’s time for the return trip across Kane'ohe Bay to He'eia State Park. Take advantage of the escort boat if you’re tired and prefer to hook up for a ride.
Arriving back on land after the 3-hour tour, make use of the changing rooms and outdoor shower facilities. Then dig into a barbecue picnic lunch served buffet-style from the grill on the waterfront. Enjoy barbecued chicken and pork ribs with corn on the cob, white rice, salad greens and fresh pineapple, washed down with nonalcoholic beverages before the return trip to Waikiki and drop-off at your hotel.
Note: This 6-hour total activity time includes 3 hours on the water for the eco-tour, 1 hour on land for lunch, and round-trip transportation time.

This tour was so much fun. The coral reef they took us too was amazing. We had no problems with the masks like we have at other snorkeling tours. Theirs never leaked once. Probably the one of the best tours in Oahu.

Great tour and operators. Their customer service was great. Evening before tour a huge rainstorm washed mud into reefs and they promptly called on morning of trip to either cancel or reschedule due to zero visibility in the water. Glad I rescheduled as we went to a different snorkel spot than planned which was awesome.

Very beautiful location. Kayaking was cool. We saw a ton of fish and 4 sea turtles while snorkeling. Super guides. Loved the entire trip.

loved the paddle and the snorkel yet it had nothing to do with Gilligan's island the show. We only saw 2 turtles deep down. the visibility was ok. The guides were good. Lunch was great.

This was by far our best adventure. The island, the guudes, ,and the expertise on snorkeling were all top notch. The lunch was FABULOUS! This group is a non profit that sponsors children's programs to learn more about the bay environment and how to protect the marine life.we loved this experience.

Great experience! Tour guides were very personable and informative. BBQ lunch was delicious. Bring a change of clothes for the ride home. Definitely put this tour on your list of things to do.

The tour guides were amazing and friendly. While I have been kayaking before, this was my and my husband's first times snorkeling. The instructions were brief so we could get to the fun parts as quickly as possible, but they made sure we knew what we were doing before we jumped in. We saw several sea turtles while we were in the water and dozens of species of fish. Easily the most memorable part of our honeymoon.

I think we were the oldest couple on the tour, but we still managed to keep up with the canoeing across the bay. Some on the tour saw turtles, but we didnt see any that day. Lunch was great and the tour guides were friendly.

Good experience. Get to snorkel on a reef that is not vertical and has lots of things to see. Turtles may be seen swimming or may be resting in the reef. People are very interesting in making the experience better. Kayaking can be a challenge, but they will provide a tow if you run out of arm power. Good for novices to experienced kayakers and snorkelers.
