Your full-day sightseeing tour of Oahu starts with morning pickup from your Waikiki hotel, traveling by air-conditioned coach with an expert local guide.
En route to Oahu’s South Shore, pass Diamond Head then stop at the lookout over Hanauma Bay, known for excellent snorkeling, and at the Halona Blowhole. Drive by scenic Sandy Beach, a boogie boarding favorite, and on to the spectacular Makapu’u Lookout.
Further inland, your coach climbs to the Nuuanu Pali lookout for sweeping views of Kanehoe Bay and Kailua Bay. Hear from your guide about the bloody battles that King Kamehameha I fought here in 1795 as part of his campaign to unite the Hawaiian islands.
Next, a short drive brings you to Byodo-In Buddhist Temple in the Ko’olau Mountains. Walk around the beautiful temple grounds to admire the Japanese-style temple buildings, 9-foot tall (3-meter tall) golden Buddha statue and the Peace Bell; ring the bell for happiness and a long life.
Head back to the coast and stop for photo ops at the famous surfing beaches along the North Shore: Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Then stroll through a lush rainforest in the Waimea Valley where your guide identifies native plants, birds and archeological sites. At the end of the path you find the stunning Waimea Falls.
After seeing the falls, head to your final stop: the Dole Plantation, where you can check out the gardens and pineapple fields, purchase a refreshing frozen pineapple treat or browse at the gift shop.
Throughout the day, your guide provides entertaining commentary on Oahu’s history, culture and news. Around midday you stop at a charming spot where you can purchase lunch; you can also expect plenty of rest stops and photo ops along the route.

This was a 'see Oahu in a day' tour and it was fantastic if you are short on time and have only one day like I did to see the island. The coach we were on was a really nice bright shuttle, with big windows that sat 25 people so the tour was not too big. They pick you up around 7:30 and drop off between 5-6 so you really do get a full flavor and highlight of Oahu. Our guide/driver Alex was AMAZING! Great sense of history, knowledge and humor and he really made sure that every interesting thing about the island was pointed out. For lunch you stop at this food truck like place that has shrimp from their shrimp farming here and it was VERY good not included in the price and was fun to stop somewhere 'local'. While you do not stop at Pearl Harbor on this tour, you do drive by and get a little history. All of our other stops and just the drive itself was chock full of sites. Loved it, would totally recommend it.

This is a long and busy day - you get to see a lot but they are short stops at each point, so you have to keep an eye on the time. The guide was very knowledgeable on the area. Lunch was awesome! We stopped at a road side shrimp place - looks are deceiving. The food was amazing, contrary to what the building looks like! Definitely recommend.

Art shared lots of history and Hawaiian culture and jokes, and we saw so much beautiful scenery. I loved the Byodo temple where we rang the bell for cleansing our spirit and lit some incense by a giant size Buddha. Plenty of opportunities to get souvenirs. A great tour for those new to the islands.

This is a really great way to see Oahu. The driver was very good. We had lunch at a fresh shrimp place Fumi`s (didn`t look like much) but those that had shrimp said there were fantastic. I can`t have shrimp but had a type of chicken finger and it was good. Stops are all noteworthy to see when in Oahu and it was nice to have a knowledgeable guide to point out what we were looking at. Worthwhile in terms of money and how to spend your time

This tour is excellent! It is a great way to see many locations on the island. Our driver was very informative about the island's history and did a great job explaining everything in a fun way. We especially enjoyed the Waimea falls and valley! The pineapple whip was amazing too. We would highly recommend this trip!
