    Head to the centrally located Ilikai Hotel in Waikiki to start your duck tour aboard an open-air amphibious vehicle that travels by land and water. Originally designed for military use, these vehicles have been repurposed for sightseeing, providing a fun ride and excellent vantage point to see major landmarks from the street and ocean.

    Start out by exploring Waikiki, passing Kalakaua Ave and Waikiki beach, the most popular beach in Oahu. Continue past the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium, which opened in 1904, and is the second-oldest public aquarium in the United States.

    Next drive to Diamond Head to get a closer look at the 350-acre volcanic crater, an impressive natural landmark that looms over Honolulu. Hear from your guide about the explosion that formed the crater some 300,000 years ago. Then motor through the ritzy Kahala district where you can see celebrity-owned mansions along beautiful beaches.

    Next, splash into Maunalua Bay as your amphibious vehicle takes to the water for an exciting 30-minute cruise. Get expansive views of the Honolulu coast as a refreshing ocean breeze rolls off the water.

    Throughout your journey through Honolulu and the southeastern shore of Oahu, your entertaining and informative guide provides historical detail and fun facts about the highlights that you see.

    After two hours of cruising around Honolulu, you are returned to your starting point to end your tour.

    This tour was terrible. Our guide talked more about himself. Tried to make jokes. Didn't really stress info about the land marks etc. I would not recommend this tour.

    we actually get to take this trip because the pick up time for the airport
    and this tour was off by 10 minutes. We would have loved to take this
    tour, but we didn't get a chance to.

    It was enjoyable, never done one of these. Our guide was knowledgeable on the area but he wasn't a native and had an accent that made him hard to understand over the air.
