Dive into the historical significance of New England on this two-day trip from New York City.Day 1:Depart in the morning for New Haven, Connecticut, home of the prestigious Yale University. Among many well-known doctors, lawyers and business owners, Yale’s alumni include US presidents, senators and celebrities. Next, head to Newport, Rhode Island, historically a mecca for the East Coast’s elite and the birthplace of the world-famous America’s Cup yacht race. Cruise along the coastal road dotted with impressive mansions before stopping at the most impressive of them all the Breakers, a 70-room estate built by the Vanderbilt family.From Newport, make the 1.5-hour trip to Hyannis, Massachusetts, in the middle of the Cape Cod peninsula and known as the home to the Kennedy family compound. Visit the John F Kennedy Memorial and Museum and discover the history of one of America’s best-known families. Afterward, head to the Cape Cod Maritime Museum for a more in-depth look at the area’s prominence in American history.Overnight: 3-star or 4-star hotel in Hyannis or neighboring South Yarmouth.Day 2:Head north to Plymouth to see the Mayflower II, a replica of the famous Mayflower. Then visit Plymouth Rock, the site where the pilgrims disembarked the Mayflower and began their new life in New England. From Plymouth, enjoy the short drive to Boston, where you’ll spend much of your day tracing the route of the Freedom Trail and exploring Boston Common.After lunch at Quincy Market (own expense), head across the Charles River to Cambridge, to explore Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).Following the drive back to New York City, your overnight tour ends at Grand Central Station in the evening.行程概要出發地點

This was a good tour which covered most of the New England attractions. Pros - modern clean bus with charging outlets and WiFi
Cons - the tour company had three bi-lingual tours on the one bus and there were two young children on the tour under 3 who screamed and cried most of the tour, I believe for the comfort of all tour travellers that very young children should be limited. -

Had a great tour. Ben, our guide was great. He is a top notch tour guide. The van we used looked as if it was brand new. The driver was an expert. So glad we did this. There were a total of 8 people on the tour and we enjoyed each others company.

Worth doing if you just want to see the places in general, but could have been better organized to optimize time spent, and see more of what would have been additional highlights of the trip. The hotel at Cape Cod is also very basic, and lacks other bath essentials. There should have been an option for a better hotel or room.

Brilliant trip with Boris our driver and Matt our tour guide. Loved all the history from Yale to Harvard uni's, Cape Cod even though there was fog and Boston is a beautiful city. The visit to The Breakers home of the Vanderbilts is a must see.

This tour was very good. Our tour guide, Emmanuel, was lovely. It is a nice way to see a bit of rural America and escape the bustling streets of New York City. On the tour we learnt a lot about American history, regarding how the United States was formed by the pilgrims who came from Europe in the 18th century and on the second day we visited a wonderful live museum in Plymouth. The only downside is that time in Cape Cod is limited as you do not arrive there until late in the evening on the first day, this is because the tour decides to stop at a shopping mall on the way from Newport instead. However the accommodation was satisfactory and breakfast was included. Overall, a good tour that provides a cultural and historical insight into New England.
