Use your included ferry tickets to travel to New Jersey's Liberty State Park from lower Manhattan. On your way, delight in views of New York sights such as the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, Verrazano Bridge and Statue of Liberty. Plus, admire notable landmarks on the New Jersey waterfront including the Colgate Clock, Goldman-Sachs offices, and the W Hotel in Frank Sinatra's hometown of Hoboken.
Meet your guide and small group in Liberty State Park, a lovely green park in northern New Jersey close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with unbeatable views of Manhattan. Learn the ins and outs of riding a Segway during an informative 20-minute orientation session. Once you're comfortable, head out to explore Liberty State Park sights including the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, where thousands of new American immigrants boarded trains headed throughout the US to start their new lives in the early 20th century.
On your tour, you'll also see the Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial, twin walls honoring those from New Jersey killed in the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. View the majestic American flags framed by the New York skyline at Flag Plaza and Liberation Holocaust Memorial, a poignant bronze sculpture of an American soldier carrying a World War II concentration camp survivor.
