Experience Brooklyn's sights, sounds, and of course, New York's best pizza. Escape the tourist trail of Manhattan and uncover New Yorker’s local hideouts on this part culinary, part historical pizza tour. You will learn about the history of the scenic Brooklyn and Verrazano-Narrows Bridges, and visit Brooklyn Bridge Park for the most spectacular view of the bridge. This tour by motor coach also showcases neighborhoods, cinematic landmarks and points of interest, such as Coney Island and the Brooklyn Army Terminal where Elvis shipped off to Germany in 1958.
Your Brooklyn-bred tour guide will educate you on the history of pizza, from Italy to Brooklyn and, armed with this knowledge you will taste two very famous, yet different pizzas. Your first stop is Grimaldi's, located under the Brooklyn Bridge and a favorite of Frank Sinatra and, more recently, First Lady Michelle Obama. Due to its popularity Grimaldi’s always attracts a queue of people, but on arrival you will skip the lengthy lines and head to your pre-booked table to enjoy two slices of classic, thin crust Neapolitan-style pizza.
Your second stop will be at L&B Spumoni Gardens, a Brooklyn institution that has baked authentic Italian pizza for over 70 years. Here you will receive two thick, square slices of Sicilian-style pizza. Once you have tried both styles of New York pizza, you be the judge in the battle of the pizzas and decide on your favorite Neapolitan or Sicilian.
Your tour also includes clips from movies filmed in Brooklyn, such as Saturday Night Fever, Goodfellas, The French Connection, Annie Hall and many more. You will also drive through unique neighborhoods such as Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, Coney Island and Brighton Beach. At Coney Island you have the chance to take in some sea air and stroll on the famous boardwalk, before heading back to Manhattan after a flavorsome and enriching half-day tour.行程概要出發地點

Very informative, funny guide who kept us all entertained, plenty of food , a little extra time at coney island would have been a bonus.

Great tour of Brooklyn and Coney Island. Our tour guide, Paula, was informative and entertaining! We did not realize Brooklyn had so many different neighborhoods! Coney Island was not quite what we were expecting but we can now check it off our list of places to visit while in NYC. This is a must do tour while visiting NYC...enjoyed it so much I bought a t-shirt! Thanks again to Paula for sharing her hometown with us and the delicious pizza!

Tour guide Paula was exceptional.
Pick up at Union Square was easy and we were soon heading to Brooklyn.
You will never taste pizza as good as this. Coney Island is worth a visit but was busy.

This was my first visit to New York and this tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Paula was very informative and passionate about her home of Brooklyn. Beautiful views of Manhattan Island and the Brooklyn Bridge. Pizza was the best I've had and great to meet people from all over the world. Coney Island was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York.

Unfortunately, we did'nt make this tour. We were stuck in traffic and when I phoned the number that I was given for directions the message said that they worked Mon-Fri only and gave me an alternative number. The gentleman who answered couldn't help as he said that he did not have any details of Viator bookings although he did have my name and party of 4. We arrived at Union Square at 11-10am but were too late. Very disappointing! I did ask whether we could meet the tour at the first stop but was told again that he didn't have these details.

How r you do'in? A great tour with a fun mix of pizza, film clips and local stories. We even managed to fit in a brief paddle at Coney Island . We could have stayed longer to do the rides as there is a handy subway link which some of the group chose to do. Thanks Paula.
