    Meet your guide in the evening at Lower Manhattan’s Union Square, where you’ll hop aboard a comfortable climate-controlled coach and travel over the Brooklyn Bridge. Admire the sparkling NYC skyline as you make your way south through the borough of Brooklyn toward Dyker Heights.

    This residential Italian-American neighborhood gained its fame in the 1980s with its jaw-dropping Christmas displays. You might recognize this place  it has been featured on numerous TV shows and documentaries including PBS's Dyker Lights and TLC's Crazy Christmas Lights! It's no wonder that Dyker Heights was voted the number one destination for holiday lights in the United States in 2012.

    Begin your Christmas lights tour with a drive through Brooklyn's neighborhoods, discovering the festive homes and decorations in less trafficked areas of the borough only known to native Brooklynites. If you find these homes impressive, just wait until you make your way to Dyker Heights, the streets absolutely bursting with grand, over-the-top lights, decorations, motorized displays and glowing, life-like nativity scenes. As your guide will explain, many of the elaborate displays are professionally done, some costing over USD $10,000 to create!

    Your experience is enhanced by the coach's onboard monitors showing videos and music from vintage Christmas specials starring legends such as Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. Singing along is encouraged! After your tour, enjoy a relaxing drive back to Manhattan.

    This entertaining tour through Brooklyn's most electric holiday neighborhoods has been featured on Samantha Brown’s Holidays in New York special on the Travel Channel, Good Morning America, ABC’s The Chew, and even overseas on The Nate Berkus Show in the United Kingdom and Italia Chiama Italia in Italy.     GREAT TOUR TO TAKE. WE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOOK AT THE LIGHTS AND TAKE PICTURES. THE CANNOLI AT THE END WAS VERY TASTY

    Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain the night we went. And that did put a damper on things (no pun intended!) The bus was comfy and the tour guide was very nice. She narrated the whole trip and they also had TV screens on the bus which were playing old Christmas variety shows and that was fun. Maybe if it wasn't raining I would have enjoyed it more, but for me the whole experience was just ok.

    This tour was absolutely brilliant, lights are amazing and houses gorgeous. Our guide was full of knowledge and humour and coach driver brilliant.

    Definitely a great tour to do if you want to enjoy the Christmas Spirit. You could see that the tour guide loved her job and did this well. With a lot of people on tour and and heaps of people at Dyker Heights she managed to keep everyone from getting lost.
    It was great how they have stops for photo opportunities and free time to wonder the streets to get a closer look at the lights.
    A tour worth doing.
