    Meet your guide in central Manhattan for your 45-minute walking tour of Midtown. Follow on foot as your guide points out several significant locales and describes their relevance to the media and broadcast industries of New York City. Stop at Hearst Tower, headquarters of the publishing empire; linger outside the studio of David Letterman, the king of late-night TV; see lively Times Square; and glimpse the Time Warner Center, home to the CNN studio headquarters, near Columbus Circle.

    Upon arrival at the TV studio, your VIP ticket allows you to skip the line to get into the reception area of the late-night comedy talk show. Go through a security screening and listen to a few important announcements before taking your priority seat as part of the live audience. Talk with your knowledgeable guide about the entertainment industry as you wait for the taping to begin.

    After a 15-minute pre-show warm-up, the taping will start, giving you an insider view of TV production as you participate as an audience member. After 30 minutes of taping, get a behind-the-scenes look into cutaway shots and retakes for about 15 minutes before the show wraps up and your tour ends.

    We had to wait a very long time, before we could go into the studio. We were suppose to get in as one of the first because our numbers were 3 and 4. But the guy at the door just took up the tickets and let everyone in at the same time. This was not fair as we had paid 45.00 each for our suppose to be VIP tickets, and other had gotten them free! This was not Viator's fault. The tour guide was good, but it was a pretty short walking tour.
