This tour is great, the skyline is incredibly beautiful. Everyone needs to do this tour, also gives you history of this place.

We had reserved a 6:30pm, 90 minute tour. When we arrived and checked in 30 minutes early, we learned we had to wait in a long line on the street for an available bus. The line took 45 minutes so we didn't begin until after 6:45. We couldn't understand the tour guide who spoke very quickly. The sights were good but we didn't get the benefit of any of the actual tour since we couldn't understand the driver. The actual tour was more than 2 hours and we didn't get back until after 9pm (for a tour that was supposed to end at 8pm). I would highly recommend a different tour company.

If you see Asian guy welcome you on the bus go far away. Horrible English for tour guide. He was not explaining most of the buildings and repeating only the most famous how far they are. Also night NYC trip should start later in summer time in order to see real night NYC with all beautiful lights from Brooklyn. Hardly recommend to check if tour guide is american in order to tell you really interesting stories.

It was a good way to see many of New York's landmark sites. The guide was okay. It was worth the cost we paid .

Viator, you let us down on this one. First, we thought we scheduled a specific time for the tour. Instead, after checked in, we were then sent a few blocks away for pick up. When we arrived, there was a line that wrapped around a city block. Hundreds of people were waiting. So about 45 minutes later we finally get on the bus.
We are handed head phones to plug in so we could hear the tour guy. I thought, cool, great way to make sure we can hear. Nope, the equipment was awful. Very metal sounding and very hard to hear or understand. The tour guide was literally five feet from us, but we could not make out most of what he was saying whether we took off the ear phones or not.
What we did hear was pretty generic. Here's this building, here's that building. No interesting stories, no insider information. Just mumbled names of places.
The bus itself was awful. I thought I'd have whiplash by the time we got off. Terrible short breaking, jumping forward, etc. I'm not sure if it was the bus or the driver, but even the tour guide commented on the rough ride.
So not what we were expecting. It was nice to see lots of stuff all at once, but save the money and buy a map. (Or use your GPS.) You'll get the same information. -
Sit on the top for sure! It rained but was still fun and we were given rain coverups. Only negative was that the driver/tour guide got a little raunchy toward the end. A little punchy or sleepless?

This is a great way to get acquainted with the sights of the city at night! Kat was the tour guide and told a lot of good jokes and had interesting stories about the city and its architecture. I did this on my second night of 3 in the city and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the top deck. You get provided with earphones that work well, as you certainly need them to hear your guide above the rumble of the city traffic!

tour guide was great!!!!!! knowledgable and personable. there were some folks in the back causing a ruckus and she was super polite and got them to stop. we had already done a LOT of walking so it was nice to ride around and see parts of NYC we hadn't seen yet.

The Gray Line having a very bad service that i ever had through out the whole trip,
The person who is sit at the office is extremely rude and lazy man.
I am very very disappointed of the Gray Line
never come back for this service again.
