Head to Rockaway Beach in Queens to meet your guide and get outfitted with your kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Pro or novice, your professional instructors will help you achieve the most from your experience. Start with an on-land introduction and some water safety tips to get you ready for your experience. The lessons demonstrate basic paddling techniques, turns and safety advise; for the experienced SUP enthusiast, you'll focus on technique and efficiency. You'll become comfortable on your board in no time.
For a full-day experience, check out the guided kayak tour. Your guide will take you on a 4-hour tour to great spots throughout Jamaica Bay where you will view an amazing array of critters that call this wildlife refuge home. After a leisurely paddle, take a break on a nearby island, where you can kick back and relax or enjoy a snack or a meal (bring your own or order one when checking in). Then it’s back on the water for the return trip, a voyage under the sherbet-hued skies of sunset.This is a unique way to enjoy the Big Apple with a view of the city at its most brilliant!行程概要出發地點
