Begin your one-of-a-kind New York walking tour in Manhattan, in front of the Tweed Courthouse, where your guide will tell you all about the borough of Brooklyn, including its diversity, its position as the most populous borough in New York City and the little-known fact that it was once an independent city. As you walk toward the Brooklyn Bridge, pass Lower Manhattan sites like City Hall, the Tweed Courthouse and the Municipal Building.
While you walk, your guide will tell you about the architecture and history of the Brooklyn Bridge. Learn about the family that constructed the famous bridge and the great losses they suffered during the process. Take in incredible views of the NYC skyline and stop for plenty of photo opportunities. You'll catch views of the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower and the Chrysler Building.
Once you reach Brooklyn, descend into the neighborhood ‘Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass,’ known as Dumbo. Here, visit a complex of art galleries dedicated to different styles of contemporary Brooklyn art (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Enjoy the culture of the neighborhood as you visit the Jacques Torres Chocolate Factory and a hot chocolate shop. Purchase any yummy desserts that catch your eye (you did walk all the way across the Brooklyn Bridge, after all you deserve a treat).

Rained the whole time but he was upbeat and took us thru the whole tour. -
I walked the bridge as my husband was ill. It was amazing construction and interesting history. The day was very cold and rainy, but the tour went on . Our guide was very interesting and knowledgeable with the bridge and Dumbo.
I suggest this tour in better weather so you can spend more time in the Dumbo area afterwards. -
