At your selected tour time, meet your guide just a few blocks from Central Park to begin your tour. From there, set off through the massive 843-acre (341-hectare) park on an easy 2-hour walking tour, stopping at several must-see and off-the-grid locales.
Enjoy views of charming fountains, monuments, sculptures, bridges and ponds as you navigate winding passageways and learn about the park’s interesting history, design and architecture. You’ll discover how the park, built in 1857, has become the country’s most-visited urban park.
Along the way, stop at several filming locations including the Wollman Rink from Love Story and Serendipity, the Dakota Building where Mia Farrow lives in Rosemary’s Baby, Tavern on the Green from Ghostbusters and Wall Street and the Bethesda Fountain from Enchanted and Gossip Girl.

An OK walk. A very knowledgeable guide who tended to mumble and forget that his loudspeaker device did not count for much in the bustle of the main NYC roads before getting to the park. Joel ? clearly feels he knows more than other official guides as he puts it and indeed clearly knows his stuff. However, there is an art to being a guide and that is firstly remembering that your visitors may not speak the language very well but are just as interested as any others in what you are saying - so SLOW IT DOWN, JOEL if you want us to appreciate that knowledge. For the same foreigner reason, leaving the group at Strawberry Fields after all of us leaving HIM a tip, of course! and expecting us to somehow make our way back to where we wanted to go is not easy for people who do not really follow instructions like Yeah, just make your way to Columbus with a left out of the park when you are actually in the middle of it. Leaving all of us near a metro station or offering to show us on the map would have been more helpful.

We enjoyed this tour despite the humid 96 degrees temperature that day. Our tour guide Joel was fantastic!

The guide was friendly, informative and a lot of fun to be with on our walking tour of the park, at the end even helped us find and get on the subway back to our hotel

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Lots of tidbits and kept a good walking pace for us. We had to leave the tour early in order to make it on time for our airport ride, and he was very helpful in getting us turned in the right direction in the park towards our hotel.

Decent tour. We had a small group 6 of us, 3 of which were pretty disrespectful - talking during the tour over the stories the guide was saying, and the oldest even wandered off for 10 minutes and the family lost him. Of course he didn't have a cell phone so the tour was delayed while we searched for him in the park. Nothing against the tour per se, but I felt the guide didn't have a great hold of the group and wasn't very directive. All in all, some fascinating places and stories were seen and told, and I would highly recommend this tour if the guide was more directive. Because of the delay, I had to rush from the tour to the next one statue of liberty evening cruise as we went 20 minutes over from losing the old guy. I'm sure the next tour ran smoothly, its just I had a slight anomaly!

This 2 hour tour is great fun. Having a guide meant that we learned things wed probably have missed if wed been by ourselves. Maggie was great, we really enjoyed her company, and loved hearing about the history of the park.

Central Park is amazing and it is good to walk round with someone who can point out stuff you wouldn't normally know.

This was an excellent tour, Joel was our guide and there was only 3 of us on the tour. Central Park is stunning, we had only really been on the outskirts before going on this tour.

Joel was our guide- an actor on Broadway. He showed us the sights from Central Park using a play backdrop with various acts. Very clever and engaging.
